The amount of good footballer do is hugely under reported I would imagine, much easier to get clicks or sell papers for the bad things I guess.

Also it's sometimes a no-win situation. If footballers are reported doing good things there are often comments about them not doing enough or just being champagne socialists or whatever

Morata seems weak and cry-prone. Was probably watching Barbie & Cinderella Break their Nails in HD for the 4th time.

He might come across as a bit of a lunatic, Evra. But I find the stuff he writes is always worth reading.

He touches on the abuse stuff in his book which is worth checking out.

On a serious note though, anyone catch the excerpt from Sarah Polley's memoirs and the article about her in the Guardian at the weekend?

Seriously good. It isn't related to secsual abuse, but it's one of the few times I've found something that goes beyond than the speaking out aspects or the activism related to child abuse and trauma. I found it very nuanced and interesting.
