could turn out excellent.

good delivery and confident going forward. needs to learn a lot defensively, if he kicks on he could be a great player.

Assuming you’ve seen quite a bit of him then, what can you tell us about him as a player?

Been linked to Leeds all year for 10 million. 4 seems a bit cheap.

Not sure what "accounts" those might be.

won The Scottish Football Writers' Association Young Player of the Year award for 2021-22.

Great going forward , good cross on him, maybe suited more as a wingback, needs to work on the defensive side but only 18 so a lot of time to develop

I think Patterson had more about him but still cant knock £4M for any player at Aberdeen ...would you expect more ?

Thought you’d have got at least 6 up front.

Can’t really compare to Patterson, playing for Rangers/Celtic there’s a different level of expectations, and he’d done well in Europe and for Scotland already

TBF he is 2 years younger than Patterson or 1.5 years to go until his comparative value can be assessed but let's be honest Aberdeen are not getting £10m for anyone simply based on what clubs will pay for a player from a provincial club.

I dont see how Tav being superb affects the value of either player ??

Patterson was bought on the back of his performances at a higher level than ramsay has ever played at.

Patterson was not first choice cos he had the the guy uefa rated as the best RB in the europa league and nominated player of the year in scotland was playing ahead of him.

i thought he would go for a bit more than that tbh.

looks a decent player, hope he develops well.

Paterson must be schite at penalties or he would have been first choice.

I assume the money rec'd is a club record transfer fee? by some amount Id imagine?

their best players tend to go for free.... well i say their best, he wasnt good enough for Aberdeen, the captain armband was just for bantz

Aberdeen have been shafted.

4m plus 1.5m add ons is criminal for a player of his potential. The second best Scottish right back on Merseyside but still worth closer to 10m imo.

I would have been shocked if they got 10m for him.

Id imagine that with Goodwin prob desperate to sell him to fund his own rebuild may have had an effect on price

I expected at least half a Patterson.

8m or thereabouts, Liverpool have done a number on them.
