TAA is not fit to lace Pirlo's boots. The comparison is ridiculous.
English players are built different to European and South Americans. They lack the mental depth and technical flair to even compete on that level.
Physicality is all they have over them if anything.

I wish someone would let Klopp know that the guy playing RB is actually one of if not the best midfielder in the world.
Saying that Klopp only played at bundesliga 2 level .... is that high enough for him to know that he has Pirlio mkII in his ranks !!

In all seriousness what a wing back Trent could be though
He is wasted at right back ….love to see him play more further forward or even midfield ….defensively he is okay nothing more due to his concentration lapses now and then but his vision , passing and shooting are one of the best around
I know he has been tried there but I mean play a a few games ….unless he has and I missed it?

All I said (clearly very badly 😂) or tried to insinuate is that when I watch him play and he he does a clever turn or a pass which no one else could see / do I always think to myself imagine if he was on the ball more dictating play from deep with that passing
I like seeing players like him on the ball as much as possible
I do take on board the points back though that the way Liverpool are set up he gets a lot of the ball anyway

I didn’t say anything - I just pointed out that people weren’t getting the point. If you’re now saying that TAA doesn’t/couldn’t play in pirlo’s style, that’s a valid argument. To say he’s not as good as him is a totally different argument and nobody has said he is!!
On the topic in hand, I’m happy to see what happens - we heard pretty much the same when we bought a ‘rubbish’ left back for next to no money!!

I get what u mean in that he could dictate play like pirlo etc. I just think he is one of the best in the world at rb, and Liverpool change the shape just to accommodate his abilities. As a mf he could be amazing but I think it's easier to replace what he could do there with other players. As a rb he is almost impossible to replace.

All I said (clearly very badly 😂) or tried to insinuate is that when I watch him play and he he does a clever turn or a pass which no one else could see / do I always think to myself imagine if he was on the ball more dictating play from deep with that passing
I like seeing players like him on the ball as much as possible
I do take on board the points back though that the way Liverpool are set up he gets a lot of the ball anyway

I didn’t say anything - I just pointed out that people weren’t getting the point. If you’re now saying that TAA doesn’t/couldn’t play in pirlo’s style, that’s a valid argument. To say he’s not as good as him is a totally different argument and nobody has said he is!!
On the topic in hand, I’m happy to see what happens - we heard pretty much the same when we bought a ‘rubbish’ left back for next to no money!!
