BBC reporting our interest in Erikson

Surprise surprise. A former Ajax prodigy, no doubt ETH gets hard over him. He's not good enough... decent player yes but he isn't Man Utd standard. ETH only wants Ajax or Dutch League players.

Poor.

He is miles better than any centre midfielder at the club so this whole he isnt man utd standard is hogwash.

Eriksen

RVN no he isn't better than any CM at the club. Better than Bruno, seriously? Eriksen looked good at a poor Brentford side... Manchester United are a different kettle of fish and no offence (just saying it as it is) but with his heart condition things could go badly wrong with this signing.

Great player and have wanted him for ages but not sure if he can play in the same side as Bruno.

posted on 21/6/22

Makes total sense but I reckon he’d still choose London/CL/Conte over us if given the option.

Bruno is not a centre midfielder, he is a ten. And he isnt performing anyway. He looked good in a really good tottenham side as well.

It could, any signing can. It could also go really well. law of averages say he is premier league proven and on a free is a no brainer.

Did you only start following football last season?

He's looked good at every club he's ever played at and also in his international team.

He doesnt have to be better than Bruno though. We’ve lost 4 first team midfielders over the past month, we need depth and for free it makes a lot of sense.

No he hasn't. He was rubbish at Inter and couldn't get a game. Also went missing time and time again when Spurs needed him in big moments. Then he downed tools for a year.

Poor signing.

Disagree. When Spurs were on the verge of winning things and challening for titles, getting to cup finals and semis etc he went missing big time.

Not good enough.... ETH is lowering standards already if we think this is a good signing. He was in his prime about 4 years ago.

‘ Then he downed tools for a year.’

Yeah what an idiot for nearly dying.

Great player and seems to have a really decent head on his shoulders.

Yes his position isn’t a priority but he could be a fantastic addition to the squad

No no don't take my words out of context.

He downed tools at Spurs for a year before sulking and leaving. Watch the Spurs documentary.

Eriksen isn’t really a CM, he’s more of a 10

posted on 21/6/22

Robb I bet you're hard over this aren't you? Seen as Poch rates him??

He ain't good enough and he's passed his best. Would be a terrible signing.

posted on 21/6/22

Hes a bit of a Mata isnt he, can play out on the side too just not that wide. But with better delivery and more mobility.

posted on 21/6/22

Sensible on a free... prob go spurs anyway

posted on 21/6/22

Looked good at Brentford but teams didn't play a low block against them. I've always found him a tad overrated. Didn't really hack it at Inter and for Spurs went missing in the big games.

posted on 21/6/22

Think he did well at Inter eventually, which is why Conte is supposedly interested again.

Yea, i thought he had a few injury issues at the start, then came good?

Tbf to Culer, Eriksen hasn’t performed consistently well for a few years now. But I don’t think he’d be a nailed on start for us anyway, so he’ll have plenty of uses in rotation and Europa.
