Agreed. they own the club and they have the right to it.

People need to get over it, in the grand scheme of things 11 mil is a drop in the ocean.

as you say that players in the club who do absolutely nothing get more than that.

And anyway that £11m couldn’t get you a quality player - it equates to 14% of Harry Maguire

Greenwood's bail decision today RDD. Are your sources still telling you that it will all be dropped?

They may be the owners, but the fans are paying for their purchase, even now, and on top of that the success of the club (which would happen without them) sees them rewarded further.

The debt over the club is probably a limiting factor in the clubs ability or desire to accrue further debt in investing in infrastructure, where you are falling behind other clubs. Your massive name carries you to a certain degree, but the perception of the club is waning and this is entirely down to a lack of quality leadership and neglect.

Havent heard anything since.

Im guessing an extension to bail is a formality if the investigation is still ongoing?

They can still investigate without him being on bail so doesnt really matter

Sounds like you need to sort out your sources, not good enough.

If £11m was a drop in the ocean to the club we'd have seen Frenkie De Jongs piano solo 3 weeks ago.

It's not 11m though is it? It's £11m today but they take the other £10m every year in January don't they?

I'm sure the dividends are roughly 20m a year. The most of any professional club in the world. Most don't take any whatsoever actually.

Parasites. Debt was indeed the road to ruin David Gill.

Quality leadership or failing infrastructure?

In a summer when United need every penny they have to improve the squad the leeches strike again.

I think that the CPS have to prove that there is reasonable chance of bringing charges, including outlining evidence.

You pay that 11m plus the debt repayments because those people profiting 11m a year out of your club were able to buy it by saddling it in hundreds of millions of debt.

With the value of the club rising massively the Glazers will also make an absolute killing when they come to sell.
*The increase in value ks mostly due to things the Glazers had absolutely no hand in btw (see how other major Prem clubs have also skyrocketed in value)

Concentrating purely on the 11m figure is laughably stupid.

Really? Does bail or no bail really influence any ongoing investigation?

Haven't they been receiving something like £20m a year for the last 5+ years?

One of the criticisms of the Glazers has been how they have run the business as a commercial enterprise rather than a football club, so surely that has contributed to the significant increase in the clubs value?

Yeah I believe they take it over two payments hence why this week it's 'only' £11m.

Compare the clubs value/revenue growth in percentage terms with others of a similar stature over the same period

The criticism is still valid as they only improved that side of things while United got worse and worse on field and in terms of club facilities. They're basically on par commercially and truly woeful for everything else.

Glazers have done a great job in the last 9 years

They deserve every of penny they leach from the club

posted on 23/6/22

To date, the Glazers have paid themselves close to £250m in dividends. At the moment, they’re paying themselves about £23m per season. (Plus loans, plus ‘consultancy fees’, plus whatever they make from selling off shares a little at a time.)

Not bad considering they put hardly any money in to buy the club.

Interest payments are coming in at about £25m per season at the moment.

So the Glazers are still costing United about £50m per season, before the intangible financial cost of their shiiiiit decisionmaking and mismanagement.

And the debt remains, of course.

Yeah. I really wish we had good owners from the middle eastern oil states.

We were leagues ahead. We cant blame the Glazers for others pulling their finger out and making the best of the Premier leagues worldwide appeal.
