Well I slept well for the first time in a long time! ( Although I do remember dreaming we lost our first match of the season 5-1 and our fickle fans started booing the team already 🤦‍♂️)

Still a very surreal feeling for me in terms of is it really happening? Hope everyone enjoyed their celebrations last night and here's looking forward to the transfer merry go round on who we'll be signing ( finally ) and debating who should be the first XI as the season progresses.

Well, I dreamed I was a Royal Protection Officer.
We went shopping in Bob Potts and got on like a house-on-fire.

Derbyshire have qualified for the quarter finals of the T20 as Northhants and Yorkshire both lost last night.

A win in their final game v Durham tomorrow guarantees a home QF.

I went to the pub for my usual Friday drink wondering if DC was a CK Mk2. I get home and all hell has been let loose, even Ed Dawes blubbing.

Thank God it's all over for now. I hope things go better than I expect. I think we are in for a very long haul. Forest Green here I come...is it near that team with a tree on it's badge?

Apart from away tickets being scarce at some of the smaller grounds, I’m really not bothered that we’re in L1.

I’m sure younger fans will disagree, but you can keep the Prem. The Championship is much more fun.

You're absolutely right Scouse. It's a pity the top 6 of the prem didn't join that euro super league as it would have made the prem much more competitive rather than a foregone conclusion. The Championship although of a lower standard is a lot more competitive ... and fun.

Agreed, but even the Champ is overrated.
Lg1 is where its at !
We're in good company down there, games are at 3pm on Sat, less Sky interference in dates & times and highlights on Quest an hour later, when the missus has gone to bed.
What's not to like ?

I can remember going there first game of the season think it was 1980/81 season and having to walk through the cow field to get to the away end 😂
