Looks like jullien is away - was brilliant for us until his injury - a few big goals including the late winner against Laziio but will always be remembered for the league cup we stole

----------------------------------------------------------------------

That and wetting the bed every time he had to play against Lyndon Dykes on that plastic pitch.....

Any Scot insisting Bojo's Westminster is a good thing for Scotland needs a few sessions with Jennifer Melfi.

I can’t think why they failed to convince enough people in the first election

he's been a flop signing.

most expensive defender ever signed in scotland I assume celtic will take a decent hit on him.

We wont hear about this one in the trading model I suspect !

He was ok as a defender, not even close to being worth the price

Don’t think anyone really believes he’s any longer good for the U.K.

The question being asked however is one of “should Scotland be independent?”

Other than matters of the heart (combined with a GIRUY attitude to all those south of the border) and belief in some faraway long term potential gain (no doubt by which time the whole world has moved on), then I see absolutely nothing to suggest there is even one single tangible benefit.

Unless they can actually address the question of currency and somehow change the mind of the rabid unionist/orange/I love the queen 10,000s in the SW its doomed to failure.
If some voters fall for a fake pledge again that will be depressing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It’s all fake. Nothing new for a government in any country. It’s all about keeping support and staying in power.

Time is running out for her and she knows it. She can’t keep the majority of her support without doing something on independence regardless of how she goes about it. And yes, even she knows it is doomed to fail.

Nobody anywhere else in the world is taking her or her party seriously. They all want to distance themselves from it apart from people in England who genuinely couldn’t give a fwck and are indifferent to those who would be more than happy to vote for Scotland to fwck off and be independent.

Then there’s a few who might think it’s a bit of a shame if it happens but essentially, so what?

Disappointing the way it panned out with the injury but he was very good for us. Wasn’t a buy young/sell high example to be fair. Feel a bit sorry for him that it’s known as the Morelos final rather than the jullien final

The sad truth mate is that people will vote on rather trivial matters.

rejoining the EU will sway a lot of people i think, in one way or another.

I still think the country will vote no, and if we do then we should just accept it.

If we can't get a yes vote right now when this lot are running the UK then we won't ever get one.

I doubt the EU would admit entry as they’ve be seen to be complicit in breaking up a national union. One they fought against in Spain.

The process even if it did happen would take many years and would have the same issues as the NI mess.

Can’t see it to be honest.

Same with NATO.

i think we will see and hear more regarding that closer to the time ginger and if its on the table then it will bring up an awful lot of selling points for leaving the union.

i'd like to see us be independent, i've nothing against english people, england, or anything else. I think its time.

interesting one about julien btw.

away on loan with option to buy, he only has a year left on his deal what kinda option is that unless we the trigger for extension is in our hands.

i think its a bad deal, he's too good to leave on loan.

means we have lost 2 cb's in him and bitton, will prob sign one and that leaves us cv, starfelt, welsh and one more.

bit worrying that

Clearly Ange doesnt rate him or doesnt think he is worth the wages he is on. loan gets the wages free'd up for someone else.

like you said however thats a big hit, cant imagine that celtic would extend his deal unless he has a great season in germany so would imagine he will go for free.

After his comments it would seem he never believed he would feature for you much again

I'd love to hear someone make an argument as to why an independent country - let's use Ireland as an example - should look to join the union of the United Kingdom.

I think it would be a really interesting and thought provoking exercise.

7m quid when you bought him as well. That's a fair hit to take.

Poor signing on the whole, made the most number of unforced errors in France the season before you bought him then was a nervous wreck at Livingston. If the bastirt hadn't scored that goal to complete the robbery v us he would have been chalked up as one of the worst buys in Scottish football history.

His saving grace, the big donkey.

Yeh seems that way whodunnit ange might have been happy to have him as back up but if jullien is unhappy with that then off he goes.

he had a good first season under lennon besides the plastic pitches, a weakness no doubt but idiots saying "dykes pure bullied him!" forget that he done f... all against him at CP. The pitches were the problem as he had a tough time at hamilton as well.

cup final goal, goal v lazio, huge ariel presence and smashed his knee up on a goal line clearance.

goes with my thanks.
