That's a massive yes from me.

I was peed off when we let him go. Great character.
Hard worker. Puts team first. And if we're hanging on
to Jack, why not? Him and Gianni had chemistry
down the left. No knock on Firpo, but adding GA to
our LB options is a no brainer indeed.

In a heart beat. Still love the fella. Of course it will never happen.

Get on the phone to him. A no brainer. Bring Alioski back home.

This is the name next to his picture on Al-Ahli Saudi FC's web-site, إزجان اليوسكي. Run it through google translate.
On the web-site he has the world's broadest grin, you can just imagine him laughing his head off at his latest funny.

We seem to be linked with every RB player and they are all sizable sticker prices.
Agree with Batty…Alioski and Harrison were brilliant together, and Alioski knew where the net was.

Alioski's just one of those people who when you know they're in the room, everyone's spirits are raised and
life just feels better. In football terms, he's a glue player.

Yes! Please re-sign him - and give him a decent contract! We should tell Orta it’s what the fans want. Anyone who does Twitter (or whatever) please contact the club. Unfortunately I don’t do it.

We might need a LB on a free if these three signings all come to the club.

I'd be tempted with Charlie Taylor. Probably get him cheap

Notice Mccarron has signed for Stoke, wrote some time back that I doubted he had a future with us but it further reduce our options at Left Back.

That Leadership Group would be working overtime dealing with Jester Gianni.

Would you want/have him back, Jonty?

The qustion is, how would he fit in to JM's plans, as Batty asked. Pretty well, I think. If we look at him as just a left back, it's a non-starter, but if he is playing more as a wingback, that is a more natural fit for him. He is 30 years old, we can get him on a free. When you think of the amount of money we have wasted on so-called big signings, at least we know with Gianni we get a 100% Leeds player, no injury issues, runs all day long. Not a world beater, but Marcelo played him 36 times in our first season back for a reason. Question - is that still a good reason to get him back?

Time to move on.
Gjanni was fun but a total bomb scare too.

I remember far more positives from him than negatives -- I'd have him back to replace Firpo in a heartbeat.

Like so many from that promotion-winning side, Alioski was an absolute legend - Leeds through and through. But in that first Prem season he was a diamond and a dud in equal measure: he’d run all day, but would leave his LB position exposed; he’d put in some first-class tackles, but have some defensive howlers; he’d score some crackers, but waste a hell of a lot more scoring chances. In turn I praised him, but I cursed him more often. It’s easy to be sentimental about players we love but second time around rarely works. Let’s remember Gjanni for the hero he was in those promotion-chasing days and leave it at that.

Lets face facts - Firpo was shocking last season. It is a worry going in to the season with him only as a recognised left back. Theres definitely a space for a further left back in the team.

No.

I think we missed him last season, but we have to move forwards and I don't think this take us that way.
