Be interested to see where Cavalho is played. I think he has enough about him without the ball to play in midfield. I imagine his performances pre season will determine how much he plays early on. Elliott and Tsimikas both played their way into early contention last summer.

Awful lot or responsibility in midfield but was have seen it with Jones and Elliot.

I see him central in the front three really but could also be a Keita understudy as an advanced 8 I guess.

Saliba - I guess - counts.
Expect Martinelli to step up a fair bit.
Obviously Saka and Smith-Rowe count in the 21 or under bracket still.

From beyond that, we could have some who impact in the Europa that could open the door for PL appearances.
Charlie Patino is probably the higest rated, and has already made his debut. An attacking midfielder, but I expect him to go on loan in the second half of the season.
Omari Hutchinson is a talented winger who has the talent to make it.
A lot of focus could be on Marcelo Flores, who is already a Mexican international. With 26 player squads for the World Cup, he could find himself in Qatar before making his Arsenal debut! He can play across the frontline.
Salah-Eddine Oulad M'Hand, Brooke Norton Cuffy, Folarin Balogun, Lino Sousa are among the others who could benefit from the Europa.

Good stuff DJ.

Martinelli always looks like he can go a level higher to me, I am just not sure he will and think Saka will have a better career.

Of the other ones the only one I have seen a bit of is Balogun really and that's for England. He is an athlete for sure.

I don't rate Jones tbh. He isn't awful just reminds me of Winks in that they don't seem to do a great deal.

Elliot and carvalho I can clearly see what they offer and their talent, I just don't really get that with Jones. I did actually think he was older than 21 though so he could kick on. Henderson looked out of place for a good few seasons, and now I think he's one of Liverpool's key players.

Garner, Hannibal, Garnacho, Mainoo and Fernandez.

Jones needs to figure out when the right time to hold the ball is and when to move the ball quick.

I think he tries too hard at times.

If he can figure that out he will.improve.

Elliott has a different issue, positional sense. He wants to chase about and needs to see the picture of the game and where the whole team is. Imo he was kept out primarily cos he was getting pulled out of postion too easily.

Garner is an interesting one and I also know a bit about him with him being at Forest. I'm not sure if he is athletic enough really, but technically very good.

Hannibal is an interesting one. Garnacho can play. Don't know the others.

If there is a side that could do with some youth kicking on it's Utd. Would be an absolutely huge bonus to them.

The Diallo transfer was a weird one given the price.

Mainoo looks grate. Like a young Pogba but more defensively secure. Fernandez is a promising attacking left back we robbed off Madrid. Tbf I’m just hyping them up because they’re the most talented we have. Always hard to predict how far a youth player will go. Even though I don’t rate him, McTominay has played a lot of football for someone so talentless. Andreas Pereira was a better prospect but has done fack all for us.

I think McTominay suffers because he plays a really underappreciated role. A few like Makelele and Kante get the plaudits but plenty of defensive midfielders work very hard and are vital to the team but get slagged off by fans because they don't get many goals or assists.

Yeah Jones is too safe for me, he has chances to play a killer through ball but chooses to play it safe or keeps possession slowing the play down rather than taking a chance. Plenty of time to improve though.

Elliott, great tekkers and started off the season well but looked a little lost after returning from the injury.
Still not sure where he’ll end up playing, I was thinking he would be like an 8 or 10 type player.

Don’t know too much about the Fulham lad tbf

He just is not very good. For a tall lad he is weak in the air. He does not anticipate danger and when he has the ball he does not look up.

People have blamed our forwards for being static but it does not help when McFred rarely spot the runs and are both incapable of passing into space.

Although technically breaking the rules as he's 22, I could see Conor Gallagher breaking through for us next season. I don't think we'll sign a centre midfielder, and Kante's powers are starting to wane (by his outrageous standards).

If he's not loaned or sold I'm convinced he'll get a serious opportunity at some point, and I reckon he'll take it.

Excited about Carvalho and Elliott. Particular the former, the latter needs to get his head down, concentrate on his football and stay clear of off field issues.

Jones is too safe for me, decent player but holds the ball way too long.

It’s weird how many promising young left footed players there are in English football nowadays. Stewart Downing got 35 caps for England because he was left footed.
