Levy would have planned for it so i doubt it will be any extra money in the kitty.

Bergwijn, Winks, Rodon, GLC should all be going out the door with a fee coming back to us - £80-90m maybe, to add to CCV (£6m) and Clarke (peanuts), although I have a sneaky feeling Rodon will be on loan. We may get a loan fee for NDombele, a few mill?

So far we've spent £75m, with Spence (£15m) and Lenglet (loan) reported incoming. Make those sales (above) and that still leaves us with a chunky budget to fill CM and CB positions. Could still go big in both positions

bought for and sold for €30m. Ajax offered €20m in January.

Will appear as a €15m profit on player trading for our financial/FFP purposes

I am not sure if he did...Though he does his due diligence when it comes to money...Hoping he forgot this and it comes as an additional bonus so we can get even more quality players

Anyone still not sure on Lenglet?

I am like 50% more in support, and I was like 10% on friday with him joining us....This is one transfer that has us feel a but meh...Maybe we are doing his a big disservice?

Yeah, i liked the sound of some of the other targets but must admit to having seen Bastoni play 2 or 3 times, Bremer, never, Gvardiol never, Pau Torres maybe half a dozen times and Lenglet never.

So i guess its down to the fact that Lenglet is a bit of an out of favour player on a free/loan. But he may be awesome for Spurs. Sort of signing that fans will look back on and if he's a success then its a masterclass, and if he's crap it will be "knew that would happen, why didnt we get X Y or Z"

Got a feeling he will not be out big CB signing of the summer. There's too much left in the kitty for that to be the case

That CB for me was Kimpembe. But that is a complete long shot. Imo though he would transform our defence.

Liverpool fans on this board and Maths are not good bedfellows. Knobbing is still reading up on what a mortgage is

You guys are right. Selling him for less than he cost is a genius play. Levy for president 😂😂😂

Don’t forget Romero initially came on loan and so has Kulusevsku and they have not turned out too badly, have they?🤔

We would not be aquiring Lenglet, without sounding out Lloris first… The club would be crazy not to!

I’m sceptical myself about Lenglet… but it’s a low risk as it’s a loan to buy option

posted on 4/7/22

Really don’t want to pay over the odds for an uproven CB!!

This Djed Spence is either on or off? I don't even know if this guy can cut at this level?

The Lenglet deal makes total sense. If it doesn't work out then we haven't shelled out tens of millions on a transfer fee. If he does well we can still make it a permanent deal.

Levy is no genius at all.
Bergwjyin is going to show what he is really worth at Ajax.

Seems spurs fans are quite adept at changing currencies to suit their agenda.

Yay we got what we paid for him, €30m
When you bought him €30m would cost you £27.6m (what you paid) .
Today €30m gets you £25.8m (what you will get back).

Currency fluctuations eh, who'd have thought it?

Strike and any thought process are total strangers, never mind bedfellows.

wow. are you going to factor in inflation too...yawn!

800k difference....we sell that in beers every game. Levy will sleep at night.

The point being made overall is that we bought him, he underwhelmed Ajax offered to take him back for way less and we, more of less, got our money back, Barri g a currency fluctuation. We'll played Levy He's already shown up Luverpool who offered 60m for Diaz.
