Swap him for Werner, or if that isn't an option just continue with the plan to deploy McTominay up front.

Ashley Barnes?

Don't think the club will want to see to Chelsea but may be left with no choice if we don't get any takers abroad.

There's not many proven strikers around atm but some good ones coming through.

I looked up the La Liga top scorers and it's littered with people who have in the Prem.

Utd will have to take a risk like we have on Nunez I reckon

I am not that fussed if he goes to Chelsea really.

*failed in the Prem ^^

Tbh it's the perfect time to take a chance of a younger up and coming striker given we are at the start of a rebuild.

Likes of Zlatan, Cavani and Ronaldo have all provided us with moments but there's no long term planning with these players is there?

I'm not overly bothered either. I think it's just the image of him in another PL kit more than anything else but I'd quickly get over that.

We need to build for the future. Ronaldo is NOT the future.

Nor am I. He would score goals for them but at this stage of his career I just don't see him as a player that takes a team to the next level.

It would also hopefully quieten down the embarrassing personality cult like hero worship among our fan base. He's an all-time great, yes. He isn't *our* all-time great: he chose to give the peak years of his career to another team.

Would you consider someone like Ivan Toney? Had a decent first season last season and could kick on. One thing he will do is put a shift in.

Could be a very good opportunity to move on IF we can bring in a replacement who is good enough to be starting for us and fits in with EtH’s requirements.

Just looked at the Ligue 1 top scorers and Ben Yedder is still banging them in. Always liked him.

Moussa Demeble had a good season again.

Jonathan David is quite hyped and American/Canadian.

Kash

Couldn’t say as I never watched Brentford but no issue with bringing in a lesser name who can help the team as a whole. I guess a bit like how Saha complimented our other offensive players really well while not being a big name.

Yeah a few were saying Yedder when he was still at Seville. His ratio of shots to goals has always been very impressive right? All the matters is whether they fit in with what EtH will want from a striker.

I'd be happy enough with that as long as we strengthen other areas significantly.

Yep; should have been in for him around the end of the Ibra era, if not before.

He’d have been a great help in bringing on Rashford, Martial and Greenwood (LOL), even as a squad player in rotation.

Fantastically consistent goalscorer, who has just got better and better with age really.

The fact that the team he is linked to is in the pl and Utd dont want to sell. Has there been a rumoured transfer fee? I thought Utd said he wasn't for sale, is there an actual chance this might happen?

Ivan Toney and Antony. We could play a triumvirate of Anthonys in attack.

Mitrovic?

43 goals in last season and a good age.

Man U aren’t competing with Chelsea for 4th
West Ham & Wolves are the competition for the rags at the minute
It’s great 😊

BUT we should not allow him to join anyone in the prem especially not Chelsea who we will hopefully be fighting for top 4.

We could obviously do without Ronaldo leaving right now, but if he starts to kick up a fuss I'd let him do what he wants. Chelsea included.

There are some players you can cope with keeping around when they're a bit unhappy. Ronaldo isn't one of them. This season of all seasons we do not need the circus that would come with that.

I think it'd cause one or two problems at Chelsea anyway. If it happens I doubt it would be Tuchel signing.

According to Sky (I know!) Everton have enquired about Broja from Chelsea.
