Can anybody name a credible successor? I’m struggling outside of Jeremy Hunt.

I’ll ask this, can anybody name a credible party?

Boris will probably send Madine put to face the press for him.

Gary Madine? Would be a bold strategy I don't think his opponents would see coming.

He’s not going anywhere yet, he’s just appointed Barclay as Health Sec and Zahawi is about to become chancellor.

He'll never resign. They'll have to drag him out kicking and screaming.

There is a good change the 1922 committee will change the rules on no confidence votes to allow that to happen.

Stand off in No10.

Boris wants Liz Truss to become Chancellor.

But Nadhim Zahawi says he will quit if he isn't moved from Education to No11.

Literally the worst stand off to exist

Someone needs to switch off Liz Truss' life support, she's been brain-dead for years

Can you understand why Scotland may want independence?

Because "once in a lifetime" for your heroin/alcohol/fat ruined arteries means about half a decade?

Does it really matter?
If the last 50 years has told us anything its whoever gets into power will tell you exactly what you want to hear ag the time regardless of who they are, then within 12 months will have fecked you over in some way or another.

For every tory hater like Arab there is someone on the opposite end ready to have a moan... one vicious merry-go-round cycle

Of course it does. This is the worst government in a century.

To be fair 9 years is about the lifetime of an average person under this tory government. Rashford getting them to about 10 or 11 though

Also it is only tory supporters who genuinely want Boris to go now. It's like when Ole was at United and it was only United fans that actually wanted him to go.

Poor Michael Fabricant, after all the loyalty he’s shown to Boris, still no one offer him a place in the Cabinet

Just a polite reminder: Brexiteers voted for this government. Twice.

Now I might be going out of a limb here but maybe Brexiteers are as thick as mince. 😂

I think they voted for Brexit and had Labour stood on a Brexit manifesto they’d be in power right now. Simple as that.

This government is a catastrophe. However, a lot of the challenges we’re facing now would probably have manifested under Labour, unless we argue the butterfly effect that Labour election win = COVID never happened.

That said, I reckon Labour tax hikes would’ve put us in a better spot by this point than the austere approach. Sometimes you’ve gotta buy your way out of trouble and the tories haven’t done that.

Angela Raynor is the one imo. She could get elected and bring about some actual change.

I think she’s too divisive. Wouldn’t sway the swing voters.

Rees Moog’s one doesn’t make him any more intelligent

This is one of the fundamental reasons our country is such a mess. A substantial proportion of the population instinctively views people with regional accents as their inferiors, and people with plummy accents as their superiors.

Time after time Rees Mogg and Johnson give appalling interviews where their claims and reasoning are shredded in the face of factual scrutiny. But the way they are taught to speak and to project authority fools millions.
