Principle first, then theory, then actuality then reality.
Are the doctors on strike?
It's very odd how long it takes for us to get signings over the line. Other teams tend to do it in 48 hours, we always take an age.
it almost as if they feel need to be extra vigilant when it comes to Eriksens health?
any ideas why?
Our transfers do seem to take a long time however it does keep United at the front of the news and sponsors etc are probably happy with that exposure.

There's a difference between taking a long time to do the medical and taking ages to book it. According to Simon Stone we haven't even arranged it yet!
So we've gone from moaning about not signing anyone to moaning about the signings sometimes take a few days to get to completion

We do seem to drag these things out, but i think its the media and fans fault for being sooo hungry for news.

There's a difference between taking a long time to do the medical and taking ages to book it. According to Simon Stone we haven't even arranged it yet!

might need specialist to ok things for insurance purposes. maybe they are contracted to use a certain specialist and is not available at the moment.
I'm sure there are perfectly valid reasons and not that the club are too lazy to organise a medical.
People have been moaning for weeks about the FdJ saga and now it's come out that Barca owe him millions is delayed wages and are acting like complete pr-cks so buying him isn't remotely straight forward.
Murtough was meant to arrange the medical yesterday but he went to the cinema and Nandos instead apparently and just said he'd sort it later and it's on his to do list.

People have been moaning for weeks about the FdJ saga and now it's come out that Barca owe him millions is delayed wages and are acting like complete pr-cks so buying him isn't remotely straight forward.

Coupled this with hope/expectations that things will change. When people see certain things that they associated with the incompetence of the past, rightly /wrongly many think" here we go again"

and in that time we have watched bissouma, one of the best in our own league join spurs for 25 millio and probably a third of any salary we have offered de jong
The problem is utd have shown so much incompetence in transfers since saf left that it is hard for most fans to give utd the benefit of the doubt

That's understandable, but it's fans' understandable feelings of pessimism, which isn't a basis to draw any conclusions. There is a new CEO in charge since the last window, and Murtough has a degree of control that he never had before. Under this leadership they may repeat familiar mistakes, or they may do things better. We can only pass informed comment when we look back on the window. Until then, it's just speculative emoting.

He could still be behind bars shortly. He’s still on bail.
I think given the Greenwood situation we were smart to steer well clear of him.
Pretty sure Bissouma was cleared last week, unless there's some other case involving him?
