Have to be honest, I dont really know what Raphinha is meaningfully expecting to win with Barcelona apart from maybe La Liga, especially given the relative dearth of competition in that League.

Certainly he has a better chance of money, domestic and European trophies and other successes at Chelsea, all of which could only serve to enhance his International career.

Apart from that, one can only put it down to a strong dislike to the British weather.

Jesus Christ, you go away for a few days and people are still banging on about getting Alioski back. We're getting Marsch's band back together, not the Championship bunch.

I think there's a lot of nuance to how the club approach the Raphinha situation. We aren't approaching it from a particularly strong bargaining position, and the club have done okay holding out like they have, and will hopefully get a good deal. They can't just tell Barcelona to shove it for a number of reasons, though.

I'd like us to sign a LB. Not sure how much of an answer Tymon is, though.
