Im a big believer in if you win it you deserved it but admit i am suprised and thought the 3 nominies were gonna be roby tomkins and chase.

As i said totally deseved for the talented english half and cant wait to see him out for england!

if tompkins did miss out because of his attitude then it serves him right for been a football style,diving,cheating prima dona

Have always been a fan of Tompkins, but his temperament can sometimes let him down. Really pleased for Chase, and for his commitment to Cas rather than aiming for the more glam clubs both and in Oz.

Interesting to see Steve Menzies in the dream team after the Bulls let him go at the end of last season. Thoroughly deserved of course, but I would wonder if anyone at Odsal is big enough to admit they messed up big style?

The selection of Dureau blows me away, he must of turned his game around to be included with this lot....Olé Menzies just keeps on coming on, this bloke would play footy for a bowl of rice he just loves the game, how he gets out of bed of a Monday morning is beyond belief.....onya Beaver.

As for Chase, this is great news for the bloke has busted his backside off behind a beaten pack most of the times over the recent years.......he just keeps trying for the entire 80min......well done Ranji..

Am pleased for Chase, he has been fantastic this season in the games I have seen him in. Sam Tomkins was probably hampered by his attitude and temperament. He has great potential to be one of the best players for years to come but he needs to adjust the attitude a bit.
