Just seen the draw.

Who in earth are they? I’ve genuinely never even heard of them.

If Rangers beat them is that them straight into the groups?

Brighton ownership group control them. Theres a video on them last season on their rise from lower leagues to challenging in Belgian top tier. But I think its a favourable draw and one that gives us a good chance of making playoff round.

Favourable draw but finished second on Belgium so no mugs. Apparently lost their two best players this summer. They’ll also have played two league games by that point so not much difference but they’ll be a game ahead.

Think the cup competition will also benefit smaller teams against Rangers/Celtic in first game or two given they’ll already have a few games under belt. Not that it should make a difference.

They beat feyernoord 4-0 and drew at sporting. Certainly no mugs

We have probably beaten better teams and lost to worse in recent years so who knows.

The draw could have been worse though and if we are any way serious of securing CL football then we should be beating teams like this.

Last season was a write off when we were told our manager was going to be a disaster, the league was already won by Rangers in September.

Is it? I think he’s been signed to be the one that’s pushed forward most. Rogic replacement. I’d expect him to score for fun against the lesser sides, possibly not suited to your style in bigger games.

But the way we play and 5 subs ongoing that front 5 will be subbed every game. Unless Bernie boy turns out to be scheite and we need to sub Taylor when he's blowing after 70mins.
