I mean, I'd much rather have a 25 year old proven PL player at LWB than a 33 yo Perisic playing in the league for the first time. Maybe in a one off game I'd take Perisic, but as a signing overall there'd be no contest.

I don't think he'd get near your CM because of the system Conte plays, but in our system I'd much rather have him than anyone other than Bissouma.

Fair enough, I personally disagree and if we'd have signed Perisic I'd have been really disappointed, but both players know the systems and managers they're coming into which will make them very valuable for their teams where they wouldn't be for the other.

He wouldn't play as a DM for us at all, cos that's not his position, but he should take CM from Xhaka, which will be a huge thing for us. Plus he can slot in at LB and allow us to play in a more controlled way too, giving more freedom to the CMs ahead of him. We struggled with depth last season bigtime (look at the NLD at your place) so having a player good enough to come into our starting 11 in a couple of positions will be huge for us.

But I don't see him as a first XI star tbh.

Jesus though was a big player at City and would defo start for Spurs. Kane would move to a CAM role or Jesus would play over Kulu/Rich on the right.
