I'm on with it, trying not to watch too much at once as it's the last, but what a show, somehow better than breaking bad

4 episodes to go but hard to see what could happen.

Jimmy’s metamorphosis is nearly complete

It’s actually sad to see how Jimmy transforms into Saul now. Most of us at the beginning was looking forward to it but the depths he plunged himself to become who he is in Breaking Bad is just so sad.

I'm confused about how long the jump was after Kim leaving him and him waking up in that mansion, with his lady 'friend'?

I should have read up before I posted, somewhere just suggested about 4 years..just before the Breaking bad timeline apparently.

Season 6 is set in 2004 ish, breaking bad starts 2008 (which is where we're at now) so 4 years.

The imdb thumbnail had a pic of Walt and Jesse for the next episode. Could be a mistake.

Just to say as well, episode 8 was truly phenomenal. One small criticism would be that it was slightly out of character for Mike to fall into Lalo's trap so easily (it was fairly obvious he didn't actually expect Kim to kill Gus). Apart from that...perfection.

They’re deffo in one of the last episodes. Would have the very last episode to be in the ‘post’ BB world and give us a crazy ending where he and Kim reunite.

Honestly, episodes 7 & 8 were both truly incredible pieces of TV. Then to follow it up with an episode like this was really something. Wrapping up all the loose ends and then jumping so quickly was a little jarring, but it was really sad to see. I was thinking about it a lot the next day and I truly have very little idea what they're going to do with another four episodes.

At least it confirms Kim doesn’t get killed off, it was pretty obvious because I doubt he would’ve gone on to be Saul Goodman if she died. He genuinely loved her. I’ve seen theories that she’s gonna link up with him in Omaha post BB.

Yeah didn't she grow up in Nebraska which is where he is post BB?

The scene where Kim jumped in to lie to Howard’s wife about the drug use was very dark. It was so effortless for her and it was clear to see how much Saul had rubbed off on Kim.

Her mum had a Nebraska number plate in the flash backs of her childhood

That's the one. There's so many little nugget of information to pick up in each episode that it's really hard to keep track of them all.

I'm more intrigued to see what happens to Jimmy with his new identity. We have had snippets before a season starts and he was made last time when he was sat at the mall. Got a feeling Jimmy and Kim will be reunited and there will he a reason as to why Kim has been in hiding.

I think we may see Kim again.

How good is this show?

I thought breaking bad was banging, but Saul to me was nothing more than a weedy, annoying character so having an entire show based off of him didn't interest me in the slightest.

It's hard to gauge because I binged BB in one go until the final series, so it never dragged for me, whereas with BCS I've watched it from the start so those episodes that are setting things up aren't as good in isolation.

I think BCS could be viewed as a better show though if they stick the landing.

Just caught up.

Truly amazing TV this series has been so far. So intrigued as to what the next 4 episodes will tell us.

Did the jump in time actually get shown, I was pretty tired watching and didn’t catch how long had passed or if we were meant to know? I’ll re watch anyway this week as I usually do before the next episode.

She may come back into the show but I don't see a happy ever after for them

I think Jimmy's past will eventually catch up with him

Time jump wasn't specified, but there were dates on his licence plate and blue badge. There was also a reference to a public mastuurbator, which is who he thinks Badger is when he shows up in BB. Could be a callback, could be to show it's the BB timeline.
