i know you might not think it relevant to this discussion but yesterday i watched our U16s play marshs formation and they were tore apart on the wings as everyone in centre. That said it was a watchable game and pretty even apart from our defending. keeper dropped ball over the line for their 1st and 2 needless penalties ensured we lost 3-1. If 16 year olds can suss out how to play against our style and formation what does that mean for PL. Off to watch us play san francisco today
"Lets not foreget, he made a name for himself ripping their league a new one!.."
Wetherby, I know what he's done in the German league because I always said to my mates jokingly Dortmund were only getting him ready for us, but would he have made the German league without starting in the little league that RB Salzburg play in?..
He's a player that has made it, but the only reason people know that is because he's been given a chance to show himself!..
The same as the youngsters we've taken on should be before ripping them a new one!..
If it doesn't work then rip them up, but there is nothing at this moment in time that says it won't!..

Still a shocking league, correct me if I'm wrong, but have Celtic and Rangers not both beaten us in Europe?..
When we were in the supposed better league!..
RB Salzburg haven't as far as I know done to bad in Europe, mind, they have had the likes of Haaland play for them, odd that, because some will say he's got to prove himself as a Premier league player, I wonder which way that'll go!..
Lets not foreget, he made a name for himself ripping their league a new one!..

That’s a fair comment Germany. Pep Guardiola discovered that the Premier League isn’t as straightforward as other major leagues in Europe. Man City have relied heavily on their midfield for goals since Agüero left. Haaland is hungry for goals, so it could take time for him to get up and running.

No one is trying to glory in failure, just express concerns.
It might be argued that those who would claim I am knocking Marsch have themselves previous history of expressing concerns about coaches.
Good coaches evolve by readily accepting misjudgements and making adjustments and tough decisions which go against their previous way of thinking.
All I want to see from Jesse Marsch, should it become the case this season. We saw last season what happen when a coach outrightly refuses to change or even adapt.
That’s all I have to add.
