Tux lives a very sad life where his only point of pride is telling people he was able to retire early (another way of saying no one will hire such a crackpot).
Sat at home by himself and not burdened by distractions of work and a social life he’s gone down the rabbit hole and then some. Russia have already lost.
NATO are stronger
Ukraine have held out and made them look weak
Russia have lost a huge amount of manpower and weaponry.
It makes me laugh (not literally) when I see people online saying that Ukraine should just give up and stop the war and let Russia have what it wants - I bet a lot of these same people - if they’re British and not some bot in a farm somewhere - crow on about how Britain never gave up during the blitz in WW2. National pride is something that gets these countries through these horrific events and the Ukrainians have done well in showing the world their country isn’t going to be taken easily .

NATO (the US) encroaches further towards the Russian border for no other reason than 'just because we can'. Russia reacts accordingly. Who wouldn't?
I'm 54 and have always been told that Russia are the enemy but the facts are that the West have caused far far more troubles in my life than Russia ever has.

The way things are going, come the winter and beyond in the UK, if Truss gets her ways as she in laying out at the hustings, like banning strikes and tax cuts on the never never, there will probably be moves for an illegal, national strike and the working poor will be unable to pay their unpayable energy bills of £3k+ in October rising to £5K+ in Feb of next year. Interest rates will rise massively increasing mortgage repayments and rents. Literally thousands of young people (recent first time buyers especially) could be facing ruin. People will probably take to the streets. The ongoing war in Ukraine will then become a total . irrelevance.
We need a new collective government of emergency to solve these problems.
