Should be all out getting involved. Where is this war chest? Slap a 60 million bid down and get him in. Worry about selling the others after.

Am I right in thinking that he didn't have a great 21/22 season and spent more time on the bench than he would have liked?

His stats from last season tell another story. Might be an idea to research them...

I have to say I think the £150 million to spend, was a bit pie in the sky to get supporters back on side. That seems to have worked with sell out crowds for the first three home fixture against not very attractive opposition.

Not going to spend anywhere near that I suspect. Be interesting to see how long supporters stay on side.

Not fussed if we get him or not. He will not start many games and will be a bench warmer at best.

He does not fit Conte's system and he is a massive woolwich caaaant.

English players are always 10/20% more expensive.

It’s more than that.

I guess the only thing is he doesn't make the first X1, but would add great depth to the squad, which will be needed.

We also need some creativity. Still don't get why we didn't go for Eriksen. When teams park the bus we'll like struggle to break them down.

Best time to judge regarding the £150m is at the end of the window and we have a month to go.

Alot of knee jerking as per usual going around lol

Zaniolo has been injured for a long time, big gamble for any team.

Madison imo is good but over-rated. Personally i think Spurs business is done bar a CB.

Lies, damn lies and statistics.

I remember in his later days with the club Eriksen was clearly not putting a shift in and wanting to get away yet the stats kept telling us he was covering more ground than any other Spurs player.

I would prefer if the system was able to break down a parked bus team rather than us relying on an individual.

What happens when Maddison or whoever comes on at nil nil and the game finishes nil nil?

Spurs fans will go all Karen and knee jerky 😂😂😂

He missed 11 games through injury admittedly better than the 57 he missed the previous season and 15 the season before that but injuries are a huge concern with him.

simply dont think hes a conte type player, doesnt do creative mids, but would have thought he would have been looking for another RWB as Doherty and Royal just dont do what Conte will require and think Spence will take some time to adjust

He has had two ACL's which is very unlucky. He is still only 23 so plenty of years left.

Fact is Zaniolo fits Conte's system more than Maddison.

I am outraged that the media are touting this transfer.

A reckless gamble signing him with his injury history.

As good a player as he may be.

Not reckless at all if he passes a medical.

And again, like Maddison he will not start every game so again, we are debating the merits of a sub.

Can we talk about the media agenda against Leicester please?

Constantly trying to sell players like Fofana, Teilemans and Maddison, let alone Barnes.

If it wasn't for the conspiracy between the FA and the media they would have probably won the leag... oh.

The fact we weren’t in for Eriksen speaks volumes.

I could see a late cheap deal for Traore and another CB if and when Tanganga is moved on.

Reckon that will be all our business, except for the touted outgoings.

Well reported their owners took a hammering financially due to the pandemic. They are looking at selling any tangible assets according to any creditable sources. Rodgers has said as much.

It's more to do with the fact they are up to their necks in ffp and can't buy unless they sell but nice spin.
