Still 114 points for you to play for to cut down our colossal gap
5-0 win is my prediction. We will send out a statement to show the biased media that there are more than two teams trying to win the title. Also Southampton are no martch for us.
Nah, we will struggle today and make it look hard.
2-1
They will score first
Spurs innit
Does it matter ? Gooners, who were already top of the league before a ball was kicked, are now, apparently in an unassailable lead, with world class Jesus ( you know the guy didn't actually score and faded after 35 minutes and got hooked in the second half ) making it impossible to catch 'em.
Season over guys. Better go back to the cricket and not waste any more time on the PL.

Indeed, but only the test matches though. Can't stand that one day rubbish.
The Premier League a bit of an anti climax after the Women's Euros. Have not enjoyed a football tournament as much since the 1970 world cup
I predicted that Spurs would win 5-1 but I hope im wrong and you lose 12-0.
Anyways you should stop using Southamptons song of the saints go marching in to your own tune.
The media have already decided Varpool must be dragged into a title race, so expect more of the same today and every key decision to go their way. I expect the majority of referees to continue to bottle decisions against them.
As for Spurs, I can see us struggling and eventually picking up a narrow win, it is unlikely Saints will play as well as they did last season at WHL.
Fair play to Arsenal for winning the league in august. Quite an achievement for the Europa league outfit

Agree with this. It makes sense as Southampton's song as their nickname is the Saints. It doesn't make sense as a Spurs song. It'd be like Chelsea fans singing Yellow submarine.
As it will probably e the same starting 11 as ended last season, most of those should want some revenge for losing to this lot at whl last year
I expect a good win, no excuses

Agreed about the song.
We are not the Saints??
Also, agreed Liverpool should stop using YNWA as it belongs to Celtic fans?
But I disagree about the scoreline.
Saints can't even manage a 2 goal wins most games, you want them to score 12 against us
Arsenal did well but got fortunate that C Palace only had 10 yes TEN days pre-season and so they looked rusty.
Yet plenty of chances for Arsenal to screw up anyway - don't fret
I think Spurs will score 3 goals and then ease up and conserve their energy so 3-0
Kane busting his "Doesn't score in August" myth too.

Predicted Spurs starting 11
Lloris
Romero
Dier
Davies
Royal
Holbjerg
Bentancur
Sessegnon
Kuleveski
Kane
Son
None of the 6 new signings are expected to start…
I would expect Bissouma & Perisic to start if they were fit enough though…

It would be unbelievably strange if after all the hype of getting players in early. Not one of them started today.
This is going to be a tough match. They played us off the park in the same fixture last season. I’ll take a scrappy 1-0.

They were excellent in last seasons 2-3 win but several games later their form fell to bits and they didn't finish the season well whereas we stormed into 4th and broke Arsenal hearts.
4-1 Spurs.

They did not play Spurs off the park. They basically mugged Spurs late on. I don't see that happening todaymb
If we score early on… the whole complexion of the game changes.
The players seem more relaxed… & we tend to end up scoring 1 or 2 more… normally on the break… as we sit deeper & encourage the opposition to come at us….
Will certainly expect Moura & Perisic to come off the bench today .
Perisic , unless injured, will start
