I predicted that Spurs would win 5-1 but I hope im wrong and you lose 12-0.

Anyways you should stop using Southamptons song of the saints go marching in to your own tune.

Agree with this. It makes sense as Southampton's song as their nickname is the Saints. It doesn't make sense as a Spurs song. It'd be like Chelsea fans singing Yellow submarine.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed about the song.

We are not the Saints??

Also, agreed Liverpool should stop using YNWA as it belongs to Celtic fans?

But I disagree about the scoreline.

Saints can't even manage a 2 goal wins most games, you want them to score 12 against us

Arsenal did well but got fortunate that C Palace only had 10 yes TEN days pre-season and so they looked rusty.

Yet plenty of chances for Arsenal to screw up anyway - don't fret

I think Spurs will score 3 goals and then ease up and conserve their energy so 3-0

Kane busting his "Doesn't score in August" myth too.

Wrong as usual!

The song was adopted by Scottish team Celtic after a 1966 Cup Winners' Cup semi-final against Liverpool at Anfield, and is now sung by Celtic fans prior to every home European tie, and later by Germany's Borussia Dortmund, which Liverpool went on to play in the cup final.

If we score early on… the whole complexion of the game changes.

The players seem more relaxed… & we tend to end up scoring 1 or 2 more… normally on the break… as we sit deeper & encourage the opposition to come at us….

The "if we score early" lot

I was right about the line up… doesn’t appear to have too much creativity behind the forwards…

Royal… can he even cross a ball!

Hard to judge completely as we have injuries and suspensions but it supports what I was saying about the fact that we’ve strengthened the squad but not the first eleven. Same line up after supposedly the greatest window we’ve ever seen. 🙄

Anyone know why Perisic isn’t in? I cannot believe we’re persevering with Royal. He’s feckin hopeless.

And Sandy, I’d be cautious laughing at Arsenal. Jesus is miles ahead of Richy as a signing and in Saliba they’ve got a real gem. I think it’s gonna be really, really close this year. As far as I’m concerned they’ve strengthened more than we have.

That may be the case with Jesus, but our front 3 of Kulu, Kane and Son is miles better than what Arsenal have.

This is going to be a tough match. They played us off the park in the same fixture last season. I’ll take a scrappy 1-0.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They were excellent in last seasons 2-3 win but several games later their form fell to bits and they didn't finish the season well whereas we stormed into 4th and broke Arsenal hearts.

4-1 Spurs.

Fair enough
