Strength in depth..apart from Dier

I think the 6 we have currently can cover the positions. Think if Dier was to miss a game Romero would be slotted in and told not to play on the front foot as much. With Sanchez playing the RCB.

If Tanganga goes though, Conte may want another.

I think Dier is very important to Spurs, not because he is an outstanding defender but because of his good attitude and communication on and off the pitch. Every manager going back to Poch wanted Dier in the team. They can't all be wrong.

Still lacking in attacking department.

Just one player missing and we’re down to Lucas and gill

Richarlison will cover all three forward roles.

Yes but lose any of the front 3 he’s in starting line up
And we are back to Lucas ( think gill will go on loan ).

One more is needed

Gil looking like an awful signing.

Spurs will be back in for players once they can shift deadwood like Tanganga, Lo Celso, Ndombele and Gil

I can only assume that we’ve got a gentlemen’s agreement with a centre back for next summer. My hunch is that it’s Bastoni. Especially when you consider Lenglet’s loan is an option to buy. It seems weird there was so much noise around Bastoni with a commitment to spend quite heavily in that area and then nothing but a loan as a stop gap. I don’t think you do that unless there’s confidence a deal can be done. I can only assume favourable noises were coming out of the Bastoni camp, who I think will only have one year left next year.

Harsh on Gill tbh. We’ve prob over payed but he’s 21 and some on Spain see him as a future star for the national team.

No all players are for the here and now ie spence

Surprised there is no option on Lenglet. Can play both central and left and if he has a decent season Barca will prob want double what they’d take now.

I like what I’ve seen so far

To be fair, has he ever really played alongside the best players. He is usually thrown in with squad players in cup games, then just for cameos.

Totally agree………Dier is a much better player than people give him credit for, he and Davies are committed players and we really do under estimate what they bring to the team.

We should’ve gone in for Eriksen.

we are one short up top. all that has happened is bergwijn out richarlison in.. so while that gives us some versatility, it doesnt give us any more depth
