Drogba only had two seasons where he scored 20+ PL goals. That is shocking for a supposedly world class forward that spent most of his career in the PL, and is why he should NEVER be compared to the likes of Rooney.

Drogba would not get in a top 5 best PL strikers of all time, so shouldn't get into a best PL team of all time. At least not for me.

Yeah I'd be more questioning why a striker who wasn't just about goals but his hold up play is playing on the wing.

suprised people still peddle this nonsense. Goals to minutes drogba is easily top 20 in the pl, and that was as a lone striker. Guy had injuries, AFCON and other bits which explains why over a season (atleast in pl games) they werent huge totals. Ultimate big game player, best hold up player the league has seen and a good goal record.

Being the "best hold up player" is not getting any striker ahead of the likes of Henry, Shearer, Kane, Aguero. There is no good argument for putting Drogba in.

Tiger Woods and Lee Westwood have roughly the same number of European Tour titles. The difference is that Tiger shows up for the majors. Not all golf tournaments are equal, same with goals in football.
