The awful coaching at the club has contributed to this mess from a style perspective obviously. But the bigger concern is the confidence of the players. I’m just not sure whether many of these players can get it back. If we the players are still playing with fear it’s gonna be so hard to get them to carry out when the coaches want come match day.
I don’t think it’s a surprise many of these players showed their best form without fans in the stadium is it?
That I include as part of the coaching, and I believe that ETH has brought in new psychologists to help with it.
Whether they can make a significant difference I have no idea (and we may never really know, I guess).

Some of the play on Sunday was OK but some was really poor. I refuse to believe pro footballers are that bad at manipulating the ball.
We need someone in there to get a grip on standards. You'd see Keane often berating playing for sloppiness but I don't see that with this team. Just a shrug of the shoulders acceptance. Even when we concede a goal.
I do think Ten Hag will get us playing good football eventually but he does also need results too. It's a massive few weeks for the board and him I reckon in terms of recruitment.
