I'm so confused at this post.

Joey Oaks ... good lad that one

oddly, I feel a bit that way when I see Beckford as a pundit speaking as if he's the biggest Leeds fan on the planet

loved Beckford as a player, and love the fact he speaks really highly of all things Leeds, but can't help a little cringe sometimes..

played for us for like 5 mins and left on a free

Agree on this Elsbels and the ALAW, Marching Together quotes etc.

Now if they said something like "Obviously always known Leeds as a big club, but I got to meet Eddie Gray and what an incredible history this club has, hope I can play some part in it moving forwards and can't wait to hear the crowd singing Marching On Together"

Suddenly it has more credibility.

It's just what some. Look at Robbie Keane and his childhood fan antics of any club he went to

I think this at least logically is a decent signing. We're crying out for an experienced back up

Els, is this the quote that has you upset:
“There are very good fans here..."

Not sure why that upsets you? For one English is his
second language. Thing that struck me the most was
that training top. Damn smart. I need to buy one.

I honestly believe that had he not said "our fans" you would have still created this article but instead complained how by not saying "our fans" its proof that he dosent want to be here

It does kind of feel like every time there is a new signing they are reading off some script given to them by Victor. Actually on this signing I thought he came out looking decent. I like that he said hed use his experience to help our young goalies.

I think all players moving from one club to another talk good about their new club and fans!..

Bit dumb going to a club and saying what a load off bollox they are and their fans are the crap off the earth!..

If you hear/read every time a player comes in they say more or less the same, so I think for the interview a few words are pushed their way!..

And most players will have an idea off what a club and its support are like, even those from overseas, other players and managers in the Premier league have said what our fans are like!..

To late again!.!..

I don't think teams tell the players what to say. all players, all sports say basically the same thing.
i wouldn't care if they said nothing. actions speak louder than words and all that.

Don't quite get the point of this signing, third choice keeper.

One day we'll sign a player saying they remember how good Leeds were under Bielsa. Pretty sure all players do there homework on the club they are joining. Heck, if I was joining Sparta Prague id google to see what there best UEFA cup finish was and I'd tell the fans that I'll crush the bones of there bitter rivals Levski Sofia or whoever it is

^^^^^

He's second choice. And at 32, with quite a bit of experience, he'll be helpful to the growth of both
Mes & Klaessen. We pretty much all knew we
needed an experienced keeper to add to the room.
Not sure how you can't see the benefit?

A player we get on a free who has been a pro for 13 years and has played 171 games, only 32 and therefore should be reaching his prime but played just three times last season.
We really are scraping around.
Kiko mark 2.

"Kiko mark 2."

Hopefully he improves our kids enough to keep him out!..

Bringing in age and experience is almost a good influence on the younger end. Good signing, I’d say!

I think Els has taken his chill pill now…

Another overseas player, how are we doing on Homegrown players, only 2 starters on Saturday compared to 5 against Brentford last game of the season…starting to look like Chelsea and Arsenal of old.
