Did you see how much time and space they gave him, Real? Stephen Hawking could have written a book about it.
A player that I think is capable of so much. His chances to prove it at Leeds had run out and a loan was the right move though.
Can't remember what the agreed fee is if QPR choose to commit at the end of the loan but they could end up with a real bargain if he manages to stay fit and find confidence/form again.
The stick he got from Leeds fans was the last thing he needed and a fresh start could do him the world of good.
Great goal but maybe he's found his level with QPR. I'm sure the weight of expectation on him was heavy but he can't complain that he wasn't given a chance to do this for Leeds in the PL. He's good, but maybe not good enough? Good luck to him in any case - the change is obviously doing him good.
I think he like other players has found that the Leeds goal is bigger then the opponents goal!..
A problem we've had for a long time!..
Great goal. Hope he does well for himself, but he simply wasn't able to score for us either in the Championship or the Prem.
Fingers crossed for his sake that he can build up some momentum for his career. I wish him well.
So now we know, he is good enough to score against League 1 opposition. Unless he proves otherwise in weeks to come, we can take it that that's his level.
Wonder if we will actually get a new striker
I was at the match yesterday as Charlton is my local.
He was on different class compares to other players. However, he was up against our 20 year old centre defender who had to play as RB. Also, after the goal, he did a bit of showboating, do trick pass against the kid as if they won it. I think that was a bit stink attitude. QPR did pay the price as we had the equaliser later and won the shootout

Red, lots of Leeds fans on here have a lot of time for Roberts, and certainly on the very few times he has scored his team mates celebrated as though he'd scored the winning goal in a cup final, there is no doubt that he was a popular lad around ER. However, I have seen him pull rank so many times when playing matches for the U23's and a penalty is awarded, done nothing in the game, made no contribution to getting the penalty award yet he takes it. I don't see the player others do, have seen enough to make me think there may be an attitude issue with the lad.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Defender didn’t know whether to close him down or cover the guy out wide, so he had loads of time. Still creamed it though. The goals are bigger and the keepers smaller in league 1 so that must explain it.
Or maybe he plays better when the crowd don’t groan when he comes on.

Still a Leeds player, that is why the goal is mentioned.
Now not only is the lad not good enough he also has an attitude problem. Incredible!
This the same Tyler Roberts that never stopped giving 100%. The same Tyler Roberts that stayed on the pitch with a snapped hamstring for 10 minutes. The same Tyler Roberts that was always one of the last off the pitch thanking the fans. The same Tyler Roberts that was named the club’s PFA Community Champion for the 2020/21 and 2021/22 campaign.

So now we know, he is good enough to score against League 1 opposition. Unless he proves otherwise in weeks to come, we can take it that that's his level.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You'd think they'd know better at the Principality Stadium wouldn't you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wait a second, I don't think they do groan when he turns out for Wales, what is the excuse for his lack of success for them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not making excuses for him. Just think people who don’t get behind our players at matches are counter-productive to both the player and the team.
He’s playing for another team now and you still can’t help having digs at him. Maybe it’s time to move on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are right it is time to move on.
Maybe this should be the last article on the guy under the Leeds banner. Why wasn't this article on the QPR page?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think marschian just wanted to give everyone a last opportunity to throw a few stones. Kind hearted soul he is.

He's like the girlfriend who just dumped you. You wish her well, you just don't want her to be happy with anyone else.
