It kind of depends. He could just be fronting a bid that is comprised of people vastly more wealthy than he is. But even then, it would beg the question as to why they'd choose someone with his less than stellar history in football to front said bid?

Not one mention of the Glazers in the OP. It was simply a question about something I'd read that found worth sharing with the board about an individual that MAY want to take over us and so I wanted to gage an opinion.

Glazers using him as a distraction, look Mikey boy you go out there and drum up some attention that you're going to buy the club and when they see how skint you are compared to us we'll get some relief.

He's the guy behind the Red knights. Doesn't have nearly enough wealth to buy the club which is why he always bangs on about a consortium.

This club will be sold one day but it won't be to him.

The only hope United have is getting Elon Musk to buy from the Glazers.

They'd be stupid to sell it for anything less than 8-10bn considering Chelsea just went for 5bn.

There is very very few people in the world who can afford to buy a football club for that kind of money. Time to start a twitter campaign lads!!
