To me there are 3 main things wrong with Firpo and why we need a new LB. 1 he aint that good. 2 He seems to be injured quite a lot. 3 He seems to get booked nearly every game he places and only a matter of time until the yellows become reds and probably miss a few games with suspensions
This all says to me that he will at best play half a season so we need cover for all those times he isnt available or just replace him which would be my choice

I'd be shocked if Cooper's picked on Saturday. Think it will be same line up myself with a stronger bench. Think Greenwood will be on the bench as well as he seems to be a JM favourite

And now Cifuentes, an Equadorian International midfielder playing in the MLS is meant to be "close" to signing for us????

It's getting to the point in the year where I start wishing the transfer window was closed so all these click stories
go away.

Anyone else thinking that the club might've been
pleasantly surprised by Rodrigo? He seems to fit
Marsch's system very well. Him and Paddy would
be hard to unseat right now. So, I'm not that fussed
that we haven't brought another striker in (yet).

If both stay fit, they start.

And to me, Paddy and Mes look to have bulked up
a bit. Anyone else thinking this? I know we have a
new fitness trainer at TA. Have they been in there
long enough to have affected both? Or is this a
case of TV adding 10 pounds?

Left back is and should be the priority. If nothing
else it frees up Struijk (who I thought did well) to
be LCB. And creates competition for Firpo.

Agreed on most of that Batty. The players were kept super fit Batty. Perhaps Marsch has gone for more physical bulk and muscle building with weights. It would be interesting to know how the players weight goals have changed since Marsch came in.

The fourth thing wrong is he cost far too much and therefore there is next to no chance that the powers will be will look to replace him.

Think most of this season, Struijk will be on the bench when Firpo is available, Llorente, Koch and Cooper will be ahead of him unfortunately.

I get the feeling all these signings for Forest might have a negative effect. When we got up the best players in our first season were mainly the ones we had in the championship. You rip out most of the team you could end up going both ways. Either it works or it's a disaster
