My bad. Just got up.
It is not going to happen.
Exactly. Don't hold your breath.
Why would the Glazers sell their cash cow?
How uncomfortable can United fans make their lives if they reside in the states?
The media saying they should sell up means very little. So long as they can continue to make money from ownership, they will remain
It will eventually. It might not be soon but they will sell at some point. Apparently half of the siblings already want to sell.
I think they’ll have seen this Melissa Reddy stuff and thought “oh, okay, business as usual”
They’re businessmen

Why would they sell? Because they could make billions overnight as opposed to however many million they make a year in dividends.
Lol relax, its not going to happen. People need to realise there's only a handful of people that can afford to buy United.
The Saudi's were probably the most realistic before they went ahead and got Newcastle.
Other than that you're looking at the likes of Musk or Bezos and yeah don't think they want to drop 10bn on United right now.
Can our loan be conveniently written off for free like Chelsea so we can then spend 300 million ?
It will eventually. It might not be soon but they will sell at some point.

Well. Yes. I think everybody is agreed on this point.
Tough game for United this weekend................
Football
half of the seats at Brentford are this colour.
Really needs fan pressure to force them but it's so fractured they haven't been able to build any meaningful tractions.
A few empty stadiums and things will chance.

Old Trafford would be renamed the DogeCoin Arena. There would be half time shows with a big screen showing his favourite memes of the day.

They could keep making that dividends, borrow against the club for further investment and wait years for the club price to go up even further and sell years down the line.
The Glazers haven’t shown any indication they’ll sell the club. It’s wishful thinking.

It’s a great con being able to spend $0 to buy a club that wasn’t in debt, spend $0 on players in 17 years at said club and then load a debt onto the club that isn’t getting smaller anytime soon and then skim dividends off the top with a lucrative TV deal and never ending stream of season ticket holders ready to make sure that business model never fails.
Capitalism, woo 😬

Won't you have loved it!!!
Wish the fans could buy them out. The club is obviously self sufficient. It just needs good guidance starting from a decent director of football. The only reason we will need a billionaire to buy us is because they are the 9nly ones who can afford us.
The Glazers will sell if offered a price that exceeds their projected medium-term earnings from dividends / future sale. The only reason they would cling on regardless is if they believe the club's revenues are destined to continue to rise. With financial performance stuttering under their stewardship, major doubts about the viability of a European super league, and grave problems in the global economy more generally, I don't think they can make that assumption the way they may have done five years ago.
That's not to say a sale is likely. I think they will sell for the right price, but also that a buyer motivated by business considerations will look at the same factors I've listed above and value the club relatively conservatively.

You don’t need £4bn to buy United. It cost the Glazers next to nothing to acquire the club.
You need to persuade a bunch of investors to join you and/or financial institutions to be prepared to loan you the money.

I've often wondered whether someone like David Beckham could get involved. He'll have loads of connections and maybe he'd love to be the figurehead of a consortium?
