I would say De Gea more so than most as he probably caused us the highest number of problems along with the midfield.

De Gea is a phenomenal shot stopper at times but often lets in ones he should save too. The rest of his game isn’t great. He’s been the common denominator since SAF left as well.

A midfield unit capable of controlling football games is far more of a problem than De Gea. The pressure we face game in game out whether it be Liverpool or Crystal Palace is beyond a joke. No way the buck stops with the keeper.

Our real weak spot is still balls in behind. For me, that's a combo of Maguire and De Gea.

If we had a commanding midfield that problem may be somewhat nullified, would it not? Keep the ball better and options automatically lessen for teams who win the ball back.

You know there’s something wrong when you make the majority of other teams look like prime Barca. That’s not De Geas fault and never has been. The midfield has been a long running joke for too long.

Yes De Gea has been guilty for his own eff ups, but nowhere near as much as those in front of him inviting pressure unnecessarily.

De Gea's poor distribution is a contributing factor as to why we struggle to retain possession, build from the back and establish control in games and his inability to come for crosses and maintain any sort of command of his area causes so many problems for our defence. A better GK would easily deal with some of the situations that put us under unnecessary pressure week in week out.

What about Patrik Schick?

This would be my choice.

I suspect the club has calculated that De Gea can't be moved on until next summer, and has decided not to bother trying until then. And that the relationship with Henderson had irreparably soured by the end of the season.

should be going for Jonathan David, would fit in very well and better than all three mentioned

He's no better at being a "shot stopper" than virtually every other epl gk since his arrival. The notion he was is a well mediated myth. He has been the second best keeper on the pitch in more than 90% of the games he has played. Which is an appalling state of affairs.

That plus "the rest of his game isn't great" is precisely why most sensible observers of the game have pointed out he shouldn't really be at the club and that (plus the absence of any real shape to the squad) is very much the "common denominator" underlying MUFC's lack of credibility - in achievement terms.

United cannot be considered as 'rebuilding' to be a title challenging team until he is long gone.

Of those three, I'd take Depay in a heartbeat.

His game is built for the epl.

Ranted at the time that offloading him and keeping rashford was as weird as it was stupid.
