How can it be that a manager comes in and can't trust even one player in his entire squad... Not one!
Marcus gets a lot of empathy and leeway due to his commendable social acts, which I totally understand. You can also forgive a player for being out of form or simply not having the quality at a particular level, as long as they’re doing their utmost.
With Rashford, though, the guy stopped running over a year ago. I think it was the City game last season - Rashford and Jesse got brought on with 10 mins to go. 10 minutes. Jesse, who was already leaving by this point, ran around everywhere like he was actually an athlete of some description. Marcus walked everywhere. 10 minutes to run and put yourself about against our rivals.
Unforgivable, for me, not least because it’s every game and not a one-off.
That being said, as Busby mentioned earlier, at this stage I’d rather they just sacked the majority of them and gave the kids a go - players that care about club & crest - even if they’re not up to the level of the league.

As bad as it was and is atm what you gonna do, give up on the club? Surely not, first started watching Utd in the 70s and they weren't great but stuck with it and they turned it around, will that happen again, maybe not quickly but will still watch and support them, football will always be peaks and troughs this is just a deep one
