Good If united are relegated ?

Being relegated is never good. However if you could guarantee me now that the club would be sold and we'd be in a better hands with the debt cleared.....I'd take that now.

The club won't come back from this toxicity and feeling. It's exactly the same as the dippers were with H&G. The end in nigh now for the Glazers but this could be a long goodbye rather than a swift one.

There is no guarantee that the new owners would be any better though. If they could actually get the right people in place making the decisions we'd be OK. But they don't seen capable of doing that.

Kind of answered your own point there. There aren't any worse owners in the entire league. If a sale of the club cleared the debt at the very least we'd already be better off as a club even if they don't get recruitment right either.

Yep Liverpool never came back from H&G. Look at them snivelling around the lower leagues. Finished as a club.

Remember this is hypothetical mate.

If I offered you midtable PL status and Glazers stay for the next decade or relegation and new owners who cleared the debt you'd choose the Glazers????

What have we got to lose at this point? There will be no more PL or CL trophies under this regime. Ever.

Hopefully there's a happy medium. Safe midtable PL finish and still get new owners.

The pressure is mounting now. All forms of media are now calling out their ownership.

I appreciate it is hypothetical.

In your above given scenario, I would pick relegation no doubt.

What’s your thoughts on he Neville and Jamie. R heated debate yesterday? I thought both raised fair points but I just can’t buy the argument OT leaking should mean our players should be out run and out fought

Why would they sell after relegation, the club would be at it's lowest value?!

They could be calling them out on news at ten every night, they still won’t sell, why would you give up the goose that lays the golden egg

I'm with Neville in this one if I'm honest. Ultimately it is the strategy and approach of the club as a whole that is problem IMO.

Although this is true VC from a takeover perspective, I do believe we can be relegated and the Glazers will still walk away with good profit!!! My answer was more putting business aside and thinking more about the anarchy that would ensue

…..

Exactly. Some of us hoped Murtough would be up to the job but he clearly is not.

Back to the drawing board and this time appoint a propped DoF.

posted on 14/8/22

Murtough was brought in by Moyes. Says it all
Every season they flirt with the idea of DOF and then kill it again
