I was going to put Elliott in...but he plays same position as hendo. ..right side mf. I think cpt is going to play 1st home game of season.

he's got a habit of backing off players in bad positions and allowing shots and also bundling lads over on the sideline giving away needless frees.

Joe's a great little player but matip he is not.

He was first choice for a long time and played really well until the injury hit, he's been a back up since.
Joel has been superb though.
I'm not saying he's perfect but at CB he's a good option when fit.

remember Atletico last 16 game in 2020, that ill fated night? backed off their player and let them score.
every player has weaknesses.
Konate has different weaknesses that he's shown up a couple times when being extremely slopping in making a good clearance.
they all have their strengths too and joe is severely under rate don the ball and in terms of pace
Matip in defence, Elliott/Bej in midfield for me. Fabinho didn’t exactly have the best game in his life against Fulham.
Nunez, top top drawer, but I’d still have him on the bench. Bobby for me.
Phillips in, fine by me, he’s given his all each and every time he’s played for the team. And he’s good enough. I’m happy he hasn’t been sold, just look at Nico yesterday. Sold for £17M. My MOTM. Who comes in if Trent, God forbid, gets whacked.
Bear in mind also his and Reece’s performances that got us into Europe.
