That's a yes from me. I had a feeling we'd go for him earlier in the summer due to the connection to Marsch.
Good addition if it happens. IMO
I can't see how if we sign Hwang from Wolves for a hefty fee that we won't off load one of our first team players to fund it, hopefully not Harrison as he seems really happy and settled with us and enjoying his football so maybe James going to Spurs will off set the deal for another one of JM's ex players joining us???
We've been overloaded with wingers since Bielsa took over.
When you consider how many wingers we have at the club -
Harrison
Sinisterra
James
Summerville
Aaronson (MF who can also play on the wing)
Dallas (when fit, utility player, also winger)
I would snap Spurs hands off for James at £20m.
We're more in need of a central striker and Chan can play in that role or as a winger. James is not a CF, has an inferior scoring record to Chan, and I always felt he was a knee-jerk signing because Bielsa wanted him from a couple of seasons ago.
The question is, is Chan worth £25m or is he another overpriced luxury to have on the bench?

Germans ask me all the time where do I come from out of Holland!.
But the worst was I was once home in England, and an 18/19yr old in the local asked me where from Holland do I come!.
Think my Yorkshire accent went when I was in the Army, but I think the mix of English and German has given me an accent nobody understands!.
Funny thing was I asked my brother who the kid was who asked and it turned out he was one of my oldest mates Grandson!.

Not sure I want such a blatant cheat playing for us. Leave that kind of thing in the midlands, it's in their blood.

When he did that Gascoigne over the shoulder and volley against us, I thought what a great player! He was a handful and no mistake, BUT
we need a goddamned left back!
With Rodrigo and James on the bench, our 2 most expensive players, raises real questions about transfer dealings.
Personally I would have Rodrigo ahead of Bamford if fit, purely because Rodrigo on form and actually probably James ahead of Sinisterra, because his work rate I feel is effective in our pressing nd haven't seen what Sinisterra can do at Prem level.
