Don, as you may know, I am a big fan of Joffy but I feel he is struggling to have the impact this year. It is early days and his minutes have been limited by injury and the form of others. I didn't think he had a major impact.
Pleased that Paddy got some minutes.

He's not getting a raw deal imo.
He's shown he gets in good positions which is great but he's got to start burying the chances he gets. Lots of promise and I think he will get his chance this year when bamford goes off injured next time.

I watched the game hoping to see the BS get stuffed. I think they would have had he stayed on. You could tell he is a Red, as he clearly wanted to stick one on them.

However, he did look like he perhaps ran himself into the ground, so was probably shattered.

Looks a real talent.

Should have been loaned to the championship after we signed an experienced CF. Hasn't even bagged goals in that league yet we expect him to in the Prem? Says it all that our only cover for Bamford ended up being subbed after being a sub .....

Report was flawed - Pickford did have shots to save after Gelhardt went off -- one in particular where Paddy looked sure to score, but Pickford blocked it with one of his legs.

Bamford adds more than just his goals - he's a great provider to other teammates too. I see less of that from Joffy at this stage in his career.

I Like joffy, but I didn’t think he had great influence on the game though he worked hard and was involved in the build up to the goal… gets into good positions but should have hit the target with one chance and really should have scored with his other.

He’s a good young talent, with seemingly a run of injury niggles that have hindered him. Nothing wrong with marsch taking him off to give paddy minutes.

When you say "he", are you referring to the journo, Joffy or Marsch? Please elaborate.

A shame Pickford has a bigger foot then mouth or Gelhardt would have scored last night!..

I was there. Not his best game but he did have a great chance to score.

I can see why he was subbed but I would have liked him to stay on and partner Bamford at that stage.

Maybe he was tiring though? We don’t see what the coaches can see.
