That my friend, isn’t even worth considering
It must have been like the first day at an army camp today.
The boss hardly knows any of the new recruits and most of them don't know each other.
This isn't what the Premier League does, it's the path chosen by Forest.
How is it the PL's fault that your squad last season was almost entirely made up of loanees and players on short-term contracts?
If "this is what the PL does to you", then why doesn't every club that comes up sign in excess of 20 players?
It’s been the best year of being a Forest fan in years.
When we’ve played so far, other than Man City and Newcastle, you can see our identity.
I don’t get your viewpoint Rev, never have and never will. You’d win the lottery and it would still be awful,
Every league is the same, just the gulf in class is huge, when you arrive in the best league in the world.
We’ve been lucky enough to get a perfect storm and find ourselves in the promised land. Buckle up and enjoy the ride you miserable B! 🤣

Interested to see how it turns out.
Huge throw of the dice to stay in the PL. The manager seems competent but he's basically got to build a car while it's rolling.

Chile, you miss the point, or misinterpret my point
I wasn’t being miserable, the post is a mere observation of how things are, once you’ve hit the big time and what you need to do in order to survive and cement you place in it
We’ve seen the alternative, those that haven’t invested or spent, and become a yo-yo club - those at FOREST are trying to make sure we don’t become that
All I’m saying is that in order to live in this league you have to, to some extent, sell your soul to the devil, it’s not a criticism, but the reality
There's no question that FOREST are a completely different Club to the one that got promoted 3 months ago - and the transformation has been brutal, fast and merciless
My hope is, throughout all the change, we can still see and hold on to our identity
If that outlook is what being ‘miserable’ is then so be it
Sorry Bear - not sure why it deleted you post - that was an accident mate

There's no question that FOREST are a completely different Club to the one that got promoted 3 months ago - and the transformation has been brutal, fast and merciless
Or,
There's no question that the FOREST squad is completely different to the squad that got promoted 3 months ago - and the transformation has been calculates, exhilarating and forced.
FOREST however remains the same. The way we are trying to play remains the same, the support remains the same and the manager is the same.
No idea why we have to sell our soul? Brentford didn’t.
We’ve recruited well in line with Dane’s previous seasons. It’s raised a few eyebrows, but who cares. It was a necessity.
It’s always the same Rev. A point wrapped in negativity, then a counter of no that’s not what I meant.
Cooper better sign HIS contract now? Really? Rev better change HIS perspective now! Really?
Rev be Rev. Cooper be Cooper. But for the love of your old employer…try to enjoy the ride!
Chile, you’re assuming or presuming - (never know which one’s which) that I’m not enjoying the ride - I think this season is amazing so far - atmosphere, like I’ve never heard before - a transformation in stature like we’ve never experienced before - Wembley was a day out better than all my other my other experiences (apart from my first experience in 1979 League Cup) - it’s certainly an experience and ride we won’t forget
Don’t mistake my observations, points, concerns…blah, blah, blah as something that is making me miserable - I’m just putting a view point out there, to be discussed, agreed or disagreed with
You don’t need to worry about my welfare mate - I’m enjoying life, enjoying the season and doing just fine
And chile, I’m pleased with your choice of words - I see the difference - and how it comes across - well done mate
I get exactly where you are coming from, and in many ways feel exactly the same. However, had we not been promoted we would still have needed a decent amount of signings, not the scale or quality we have made, but numerically, at least double figures. I’ve stated before i loved the championship, honest football, and tbh am no great fan of the hype around the PL, yes its status is undeniable, but it’s certainly nowhere near grass roots, home grown football. I’m glad the window has finally closed and hope Cooperman can blend a winning formula, but its not going to be easy massaging all these ego’s,and International players will probably expect to play. I also agree about Wembley, certainly in my top 3 sporting memories ever. There is a really interesting article in the Athletic about Forest by Tayle’s, a long but very interesting read, indicating why Cooperman hasn’t signed his contract yet. I’m enjoying the ride, expect it be bumpy and will definitely be sat in the BC upper tomorrow cheering the Garibaldi on to three points agains ‘muff.

Chile, negative comments aren’t something that needs apologising for - a lot of those so called comments IMO are totally justified
Besides, irrespective of my tone, or how it somehow annoys you, is totally irrelevant
This is a forum for debate and differing opinions - if you don’t like them, that’s fine, you don’t see me moaning at you over positivity

Negativity followed by positive spin.
