Watched ur game and what truck me was the lack of commitment. Your players let Brighton have so much time on the ball it was unbelieveable.

Also noticed what's happened to.your mf? U have top.players in there, madders...tIels...amarty..etc but no cohesion. Ur in a false position imo....

Top players managed by someone who has thrown the towel in and is behaving like a child. The only positive I take is that his brand is taking a hit as well.

That financial position is so bad though that without a serious injection of investment we’re in for a fight next year if we do manage to stay up

I hope Rodgers stays in the job until after we play you

Nice long trip back to the Midlands beckons.

That was an abysmal performance. He's got to go

You've got the look of a side that is going to get relegated at the moment. It will be difficult to turn it around.

Financial position will be made a hell of a lot worse by relegation. He has to go, and he has to go now.

We have lost our first few games by the odd goal and some bad luck
This was different,we were outplayed and out classed ln every area, Brighton were far better than us, especially in desire to win the ball and then use it.
Have not wanted to criticize Rodgers before, but it seems quite obvious now that he will take us down.
We have the players to be in a comfortable place in this league, but won't achieve that with him in charge.
Think that there are several members of our hierarchy to blame, apart from Top,and we need a complete clear out in many areas of our club, sadly starting with the manage
Quite simply this cannot go on any longer,we are becoming a laughing stock.

Exactly!! But you know he’ll get sacked next week and “new manager bounce” will happen!!!

Isn’t he due a massive pay off if you sack him?

Yes. It’s a massive issue. We gave him too much power and he didn’t deliver.

Right now I think I'd happily take that scenario. Staying up is so important to the long-term future and objectives of the football club - it's non-negotiable. Relegation could be catastrophic given the financial situation. You could just about make a reasoned case for rebuilding with a young squad and coming straight back, but it would completely kill off our hopes of ever again competing with the elite clubs. You could kiss goodbye to the stadium redevelopment for starters...

Agree Foxello, staying up and managing on a shoestring is the ultimate aim but it’s going to be tough to manage. I worry that the financial situation has become so bad that the club, under its current ownership, will not be mixing it with the elite again. I think too much damage has been done - it’s a really tough mess they’ve got themselves into

I’m really shocked at those numbers - I knew things were tight, I had no idea we were racking up those kind of losses

Thanks for that…..

What sickened me apart from the final score was the players falling out and arguing with each other, a sure sign of a club in deep trouble. No team ethic, and no desire to chase after lost possession. I could go on but what's the point? Totally disillusioned and fearing that Championship football beckons for next season. Unless BR goes and as Mersey says "He has to go, and he has to go now."
