I’ve never really been convinced by Gomez to be honest. This isn’t reactionary either. He had a good 6 months with peak VVD and that was it really. Always been wildly consistent his whole career and makes loads of mistakes.

There's the defence being exposed, and being able to deal with at least some of it, it's almost like they are panicking every time the ball makes it past your midfield.

Partly on the midfield, but it still shouldn't be that bad.

Same thing happened to us the other week, mistakes are part of the game, but at least put some fvcking effort in. Easier to take losing if they at least look like they give a sht

Your not pressing from the front anymore maybe Mane was the catalyst for that, Salah just doesn’t interested I think they inspired each other

We haven't pressed from the front like that for a couple of years.

Manes departure is neither here nor there, we replaced him with Diaz last year and Diaz forced him out the side, until klopp moved him central.

As for Salah he's been poor since the AFCON

That's what anoys me most about gomez. He is usually absoulte garbage when you need him. But soon as matip is fit to play you will see him step it up.

But let's not also forget virgil ad well. Garbage all season

Klopp should take the step up to a bigger club like Chelsea now he’s done all he can with Liverpool 👍

I think some one recently said it. You always feels worried thay gomez will get caught on the ball. Today he has been rinsed

Worst Gomez has ever played.

Can't remember the last time he was both outran and outmuscled so easily.

Those two aspects are usually his strengths defensively.
