Supermarket trollies left in parking spots. You get some lazy cauunts
People who get really close to you to look over your shoulder at the shelf you're at. Wait ffs!
The checkout operator who thinks you want a chat when you're in a rush. Just can the damn shopping.
People taking kids with them shopping. Understandable if there's just one adult but, if there's two, one of you stay outside with your noisy brats.
The way supermarkets move stuff around the store!
I’m a creature of habit - I like things organised and in their place so I know where to find what 😡
Anyone who acts like the shop is there purely for them. So slow walkers, people who block aisles with trolleys or to chat with a friend they've bumped into.
Lack of social awareness in public does my absolute nut in.

Ah yes. The aisle-block chat does my head in too. Then they look stunned when you say 'excuse me' to go past them as if you've done something wrong.

This x 100%
Also the public in general are a bunch of cants
People who don’t pick up a basket when they come in and end up picking up more than they had planned and then ask a worker to get them a basket. No, fack off and get it yourself.

I worked in retail for a couple of years in my late teens/early 20s and had your second sentence stuck in my head on a daily basis.
So many morons who think the lowly cashier on £6 an hour is responsible for the direction of the entire store.

True that.
I used to work in retail in my teens/20s and I recall once in the pub after a shift someone moaning to me and one of my work colleagues about the price of beans. My mate threw down an empty packet of crisps and asked the man to pick it up off the floor. When the man asked why he should do that my mate replied "You're a road sweeper aren't you. Isn't it your job to pick up rubbish?" "But I'm not at work said the man"...
The elderly shopping early in the morning/after 5pm or at weekends -- you've got most of the day, EVERY DAY to do your shop ffs, I've got to go to work!
Walking at <0.01mph down the middle of the aisle with no ability to turn their head and notice anyone else so they then turn into an aisle and cut you up as you try to pass them.
I realise this is a bit callous but ffs they're annoying.

You're a shelf lurker!
I also worked in retail a few years back and one thing that baffles me is the people who come in every single day, often more than once. What could you possibly be doing?

Not lurking. Perusing. I have to make sure that there are no allergens in the food as sometimes they change the contents!
People who can’t stand upright and walk normally, it seems almost everyone needs to be propped up by their trolley as they crawl around the store
People who shop together but have to discuss every item an detail before picking it up. It’s not that big of a decision.

Fair enough for enough for veg or chilled items. Anything else is unnecessary.
