The evening chronicle, Tyneside’s version of the MEN
He'll probably be first choice again as of today. Malacia has been poor lately and was hauled off at half time on Thursday. Probably a non-story

Cheers
It’s the inconsistency with Shaw, he’s capable of being very good, but then goes off the boil, after the Euro’s his form dropped off a cliff after being one of the clubs stand out players
can think of a couple of other players United could think about offloading, well before Luke Shaw.
Luke Shaw is a quality LB, he's inconsistent but I did read he is still having troubles with his previous injury and had some metal plates taken out recently
If we sell its got to be for 60m+

If we get £60 million for Shaw I’ll actually get a Glazers tattoo and will fly their family out here and treat them like long lost family members and swear a blood oath to take a bullet for any of them at any time.
Let him go, we could do better

No one is going to pay 60m for someone who apart from one outstanding season has been pretty average. and doesn’t have a great injury record. Atleast noone sensible anyway..,-
Jones would be like "yep survived another one!"

So what you're saying is that you think we might buy him from ourselves for 60 million. Bold strategy

maybe if we let him go for free, we could push that up to 90m?

I’d let him go and buy a top class one but only in the summer. He’s not ever gonna be good enough

See how this season pans out for him and make a call then.

We don’t already know that Nohlman. That is something you have decided.
Too good to sell considering we'd have to identify a better player to replace him, and they'd cost an absolute fortune.
He's better than Malacia when on his game. That's not to say the Dutchman won't eventually be better but he does have a lot of improving to do. If we can get Shaw and Rashford working well down the left we'll be much better. Rash also works well with Martial. It does mean Sancho would need to step up but that's why you have a squad.
I’ve heard it all now.
Was listening to a podcast from yesterday and Mark Lawreson just said Ronaldo is the “only United player who looks like he will score a goal at the moment”.
It really irritates that these clowns are paid to give opinions like these and Lawrenson is near to top of the list.
The sentiments ruining this club. If the coach deems him not capable of meetinghis tactical demands then by all means shift him. He is almost always injured anyway
Just read a report , we are top of the table in compensation payments for sacked managers. About £60M.

I saw that, the table conveniently left out 3 sacked Chelsea managers within that time frame for some reason.

Where on earth did he get that from?
Rashford hasn't been great this season but he's scoring goals and apparently Martial's goals-per-minute is better than Haaland's!
