I said charged and remanded

Both have happened

To you? About time. Was it the assault on the barmaid or the forced breast feeding on zoom that tipped it?

Yeah that he breached bail conditions

Itl be interesting to see if he is held in remand after the hearing.

Surely if he is bang to rights, they will remand him.

Different circumstances but they banged Ben Mendy up for breaking bail conditions.

What was the tone of Mendy's voice?

My understanding is CPS pushing for remand, defence pushing for ankle tag and restraining order on him against Harriet.

It’ll potentially emerge tomorrow during legal argument that Harriet was at his house when he was arrested yesterday. I’ve had that confirmed. CPS will demand remand on the basis he will be controlling her if he’s free, but defence will say it can be managed properly so he won’t.

I’d say he’ll be remanded.

What sort of compensation would he recieve if he was remanded for 6-8 months before being found not guilty?

None at all

None. If he does get remanded it will be because he broke his bail conditions I'd think. No-one to blame but himself for that.

You don’t get compensation for being on remand if innocent

Have you any examples of such instances where people have been paid compensation? I don't think it's a thing as far as I am aware. In this case Mason is still getting paid, so there is no loss of earnings. He is being charged with the kind of offences where witness intimidation is deemed quite likely. He also appears to have broken bail conditions. I can't see any viable reason why would get any compensation.

Bail that he shouldn't have been on if he is eventually found not guilty though.

I'm not saying it does happen, just be surprised if that were the case given damage reputation and what not.

Doesn't matter. He still broke his bail conditions. I don't think compensation is a thing in these instances anyway. Never heard of it. I certainly can't see it when a suspect has been stupid enough to break bail conditions and has forced the judge's hand.

He's in court this morning. The M.E.N will no doubt have live coverage
