I expect another loss. We're in total free fall now.

Be interesting to see Marsch's next knee jerk line up.

Batty , I'm starting to feel the same way

Bad start to the weekend for us with Forest beating Liverpool. They also join the 9 point club.
Massive game for us. The fans have turned and I've seen a lot of Marsch out rhetoric online with the Bielsa loyalists crying for him to return and bashing his predecessor. Failure to beat Fulham and I can't see JM being Leeds manager after the WC. The owners have let the manager down yet again and its he who is getting the flak for blatant mismanagement.

2-1 squeaky bum win. We should and will be too good for Fulham imo. Would have been nice to go into this game on the back of a positive midweek result which judging by how poor Leicester are/were, we should have got.

Meslier

Kristensen
Cooper
Koch
Struijk

Adams
Roca

Harrison
Aaronson
Sinisterra

Rodrigo

The Square Ball lads were saying that the board were
behind MB until that final game and gone. They said
what makes Marsch think he'll be treated differently?
I agree with them. A loss against Fulham and I think
it's curtains for him.

Unfortunately, the club thought Bamford could get us
the necessary goals. He can't. Poor recruitment has
us virtually nailed on for the relegation battle.

I agree with your line-up Shaun.

1 : 3 to Fulham. Would love to be and need to be wrong on this but my confidence in the team and management has taken a battering.

Hopefully this is JM's final game. We will lose 100% just a matter of by how many.
No compitent striker, no recognised left back, no confidence, too narrow, poor tactics, poor subs, far too many wingers shoe horned into the team, no balance, headless chickens, incompetent ownership all equals worst run club in the Premier league and will deservedly be relegated in bottom place.
UNLESS
There is an epiphany inside the noggin of Radz and at 4pm tomorrow he hands JM his P45 and gets on the blower to Sean Dyche to come in and rescue us.

Laughed my ar $ e off hearing the Square Ball lads
refer to Marsch's narrow system as 'Pen_s Ball'.

I think sadly there's no amount of chest thumping misty eyed motivational speeches to the lads that make up for the short comings at left back, centre back, surrendering possession repeatedly and getting picked off with great swathes of space from the absent full backs and snatched chances when they do come for us.

Towards the end of Bielsa's time teams had sussed us out but that seems to have happened very early in JM's range and we have been nullified quickly.

Have Faith called this out from day one. Not using
the wide areas to our advantage, and waiting for the
opposition to have the ball to initiate our plans,
is a very flawed tactical approach. It's showing now.

On a bright note, Koch is having a sold season (bar
the own goal). Raz looks good to me. Roca & Adams
have been a really nice surprise. Effective pairing.
Aaronson is a player, bit light in the frame but good.
And for me, Sinisterra looks a really good signing.
Mes continues to be terrific. And Struijk's going to be
huge for us now and in the future. Not all doom.

The club has to hope that they can claim as many points as possible till the next transfer window and the incoming players should be coming in at the beginning of the window and not on the last day. They should not be looking to off-load players, because knowing the club's luck they will have another injury crisis. Prepare for the worst and after that everything is a gain. Has much as I like the young players they are no substitute for quality experienced players. The club still needs a big central striker(the type of player the club has not produced from the youth set up. Maybe the club should be recruiting more tall central strikers. I think Noel Whelan was the last central striker over 6 feet the club produced from the youth policy.
The squad size seems to be about two players short.

Well now … yes, indeedy, a must win game for me and I will remain positive ahead of the kick-off … I’m going for a 4-0 win, Paddy brace, Coops header and an Aaronson tap-in.

Going for a 3-1 loss and Jesse to be given his Marsching orders

Look at the second Leicester goal again Batty and tell me you think Kristienssen is having a good season, his positioning and lack of awareness for that goal alone indicates he is not ready for the Premier league.

Els, how about on the whole he's improved?

He's definitely a player who can play RB in the Prem.
But, in this side as it's constructed, who hasn't effed
up in a game or two? Even Adams, who has been
our best player, had an off night. And if we can't score
at all, that puts immense pressure on the back line
to keep us in games.

...he is not ready for the Premier league.

^^^

You could apply that to Llorente and it holds more water.

You can apply that to Firpo and you'd be laughed at
for stating the obvious, as Firpo isn't even Championship
level. He's fcking atrocious.

Rasmus has improved. His passing out from the back is really good, always finds a midfielder in front of him. Firpo is painfully bad and id take 5 mil in Jan all day.

Everton and Forest big wins today.

More pressure on tomorrow now

I wonder which/how many bench-warmer/s Jesse has put in the first team tomorrow

I agree Rasmus has been improving but his passing out from the back was not great on Thursday gave the ball away loads. 59% pass completion is terrible for a full back, firpo was 74% from similar number of passes.

Ramus has improved…. But is not yet to Aylings level. Something doesn’t add up why Ayling has not taken his place. Fitness?

It's Fulham, ffs, not Real Madrid. 1-0 Fulham, but who knows what will happen at Anfield? Weirdly, we are better suited to winning there than at Elland Road. On second thoughts, I'm going for 1-0 Leeds, with Sini to score a Worldy.

We're Leeds. Can beat anyone, and lose to anyone. Home advantage = chance of fair reffing ?
Need at least a point and I think we'll get at least a point.

When you see what a difference proper big physical CF makes to a team it makes me wonder why our powers that be cannot see it. Watched MOTD last night and even Everton look better than us with Calvert Lewin back. Sadly our CF is a bit of a sickly child, hardly ever fit and looks a bit weedy when up against big powerful CBs.
How we could do with a Mitrovich type CF who CBs would hate to play against.
Instead we sign short young strikers who are "for the future" while the team is crying out for goals now.
