Could be genius or could be disaster. Not my choice really but a statement of intent I suppose. We should have better ball retention in there at least.

Stunned that Fred isn’t starting and think that midfield may be our undoing. Hope I’m wrong.

Not at all sure of Eriksen over Fred. We saw how that panned out against City.

I'm surprised there's no Fred too but I suppose it's good ETH has the confidence to trust we can win a game with footballers in the side. If he did want Eriksen and Bruno in the team though I'd prefer Bruno in the forward three and Fred in there for extra insurance.

I’m just not sure why you’d change a winning side that played so well - especially when that side looks even better suited to this game than the last.

There were a lot of comments before the Spurs game with ‘oh no not Fred’ and ‘why Fred?!’ but that worked out okay. Maybe this will too. Not sure comparing Chelsea to City is a good benchmark for whether Casemiro (who has only really just got up to speed) can play next to Eriksen or not, they play nothing like them.

I would’ve kept the team exactly the same, but I’m not that concerned with the line up here. Just hope we don’t need too much inspiration from the bench, maybe Garnacho if one of their fullbacks gets a booking and the game is stretched late on.
