I hear we might dip into the Austrian market and get the unproven but well organised Ring Binder.

He knows exactly how to separate attack, midfield and defence.

You heard it here second as I knocked it from Twitter

Yes stoopo, only heard good things about him.

I guess Liverpool is a defeat anyway so no real rush to replace him before then.

After that I think we have three games left before the World Cup break? I think they will limp on until then at least.

You never know he might just turn it around. Not got much faith in that thought though, to be brutally honest.

No point in speculating just yet, he will be sacked in early Feb. Ask then.

Steve Cooper
Michael Beale
Ruben Amorim

Marco Rose likely wouldn't leave but would be a great fit if you could convince him.

I think he should go and soon but do I trust the board to admit they have got it wrong and bring the right person in to turn this around? An emphatic no.

Just to add I'd even go as far as saying Mark Jackson could probably get more of a tune and organise us tactically than Jesse. Funnily enough it was Jackson who was in the dugout in the Villa game where we actually set up effectively in second half down to ten men. Says it all really.

Isnt Mark jackson on the bench every game ?

Said it before, and I’ll say it again.

For those of us not living in the fantasy world of Tuchel and Poch, Ange Postecoglou from Celtic would not be an unreasonable shout.

On the bench and calling the shots.

Bielsa or Gerrard

Big fat fcking never on Gerrard. He's been found out.
The brains behind his two stints was Michael Beale.

Vincent Company doing a decent job and has turned Burnley into an attacking team.
At least he has premier league experience even if only as a player

Villa signed Emery. Probably a good signing for them.

I'm going to guess this is no coincidence.

"Marcelo Gallardo announced today that he will not
return to coach River Plate after his contract ends in
December. Gallardo ended months of speculation
regarding his future during an impromptu press
conference on Thursday."

River Plate's most successful manager. Described
as 'fiery' (remind anyone of a certain DoF who kicks
monitors and screams like a nut job?). Speculated
more than once that he has had offers in the MLS
and in Europe. Pep's a big fan. Played in Ligue 1.

His teams are described as 'high tempo and pressing.'

My wild ar$e feeling is, board/Orta have a deal in
place with Gallardo and are having him come in,
post World Cup and his contract ending. Failing that
Marsch stays and we are dead certs for relegation.

Done a great job, but maybe too old? Would have to be a big sell.

Always liked Dean Smith before Villa

Thomas Frank, about time he managed a big club….

Yep, i like kompany. It’s a terrible championship this year for quality, but Burnley are the best team in it - and I’d be really surprised if they didn’t go up. Kompany’s done a very good job… but would he move from a side heading to the Prem, to one likely heading out of it.

I don't think Gasperini is realistic but it's who I wanted after Bielsa for a while.

I really like Frank, but why move from secure situation where he has built up some credit, family settled in London to move to a volatile situation and he'll know the reality from Jansson.

I would suggest that the next coach is probably a name unknown/unfamiliar to many of us at this time and I would imagine that the owner's criteria are something like this:

Cheap
Available now
Won't complain
Won't ask for loads of new players
Is happy with location of plug sockets at Thorp Arch

Yeah Brentford are a well run but very little club, new stadium only holds 17k! Can't see one of the top 7/8 clubs taking a chance on him, so I guess it could come down to budget, how much input he has on transfers etc, but could be done.
