Dortmund aren't skint though are they? If they were in a really bad spot that'd make sense but they're not going to give up on 10s of millions for short term cash flow.

I think if we were going to sign Bellingham then it would have been last year. His profile has rocketed and you have representatives of RM and PSG openly speaking about their admiration for him. And City are definitely a strong option.
I just don't think we'll win in a bidding war. Not unless FSG sell to a PSG/City/Newcastle type owner and if that happens I'm just not sure I'll care that much whether we sign him or not.

I think it’ll be between Liverpool, City and Chelsea. Maybe we’ll enter the bidding if the club is sold soon, but I suspect we’ll be back in for De Jong anyway, or a player of similar profile, which Bellingham doesn’t fit.
