Teams did seem to miss a lot of chances inexplicably against Liverpool last season, then Allison was unreal at times too.

Feels like this season they've been so open though that teams have been creating so many chances its harder to jot score and the more they concede the more other teams come in confident

Said at the time they’d overreached and putting that many new players in would cause issues. On paper their fullback signings should have been good, both look like they don’t know what defending is. Wirtz hasn’t started, isak looks unfit, Salah is in decline.

You can't say a window is the best when you've only seen it on paper and not on grass.

Does seem weird they didnt prioritize a DM or a CB but they got both of Etikeke and Isak. Squad building of a 12 year old playing FIFA

Are people suggesting that we should have kept Darwin Nunez and not signed Ekitike and Isak because we’re a goal down away at Chelsea?

No but you sold a brilliant player in Luis Diaz and didn’t really replace him.

You replaced a defensively suspect but brilliant footballing RB with a more defensively suspect & less brilliant footballing RWB.

You’ve tried to replace a more workman like number 10 who helped protect what’s behind him with a more skillful number 10 that seems to leave the CB’s exposed.

Time will tell if it works.

Diaz starting to look like the best player in football with the way Bayern have gone up a level and Liverpool have gone down one.

What's wrong with the maths?

Maybe part of the problem is the players you bought but there still seem gaping gaps at CB and DM
