Ten Hag knows how to set up a counter-attack team. Its why they finished in the top 4 last season. But to challenge for the title, teams need to be able to play possession based football as well, and he has failed trying to achieve that this season. Which is why pundits keep on accusing Utd as having no pattern of play.
