I'd be getting if we missed out on CL and would be a big setback but realistically this team was already spent after two seasons of trying to compete with a machine like City side.

Then from that we've been plagued with injuries and a thread bare squad has constantly been running on empty all season.

Just cos I understand why we're struggling doesn't mean I don't understand the gravity of the situation.

I hope Liverpool feel sorry for us next week.

I can't see us getting anything from Liverpool after the PSG game, we're just gonna have to beat Newcastle and Saints

Aye, I'm a neutral who feels Arteta has done a good job looking on from the outside but he needs to step up and make the team just that WEE bit better and if he can you'll be amongst it imo, if he can't then maybe questions need to be asked!

Yeah I think he's done a good job this season all in all given the circumstances but it's very frustrating as there's been times where we just haven't had the energy to put up the fight needed and as a fan, when you see the team put in those performances it's really demoralizing even if they are understandable at the core of it.

Aye, I don't have any real issues with other clubs and call it as I see it and Arsenal losing a few players to injury and maybe not investing at the Winter window has made it more difficult than it maybe should have? You've had periods where you played very well but others where it's been tough?

Arteta will defo, imo anyway, get next season no doubt, how you buy in the close season will probs make or break him?

The winter window was kinda mad, i understand not wanting to be short termist but Villa showed there was value to be had there. On the flip side we got unlucky with injuries immediately.

I think as usual the truth lies somewhere in the middle, we were unlucky but we'd pushed our luck for a while and to continue to do so was irresponsible by the management and everything just lined up for the perfect storm for us.
